Lately we have been having several issues as to what we are supposed to do as a site. Do we accept any and all content put up? Do we do that but with restrictions? Do we limit our scope to the creation of well known and published stories such as the works of Poe?
Honestly we have a mass of terrible content on this site which we have been holding back on deleting or that are allowed to stay just because it has been on the wiki for a long period of time and that has since grown in popularity.
I want to know how we deal with this. Are we supposed to keep going as we are with the few limitations we have on the content or do we switch goals and serve to archive great literary works. It seems as we do a bit of the archiving and more of the accepting O.C. and the quality of the content has been going downhill fast.
Should we be forced to harbor such poor quality content such as Jeff the Killer and Sonic.exe just because it's famous? Does age and popularity overshadow quality?
We all need to sit down and figure this out, and soon.
