Not to be mean or anything, but it seems like all the posts here nowadays are just pictures of OCs. I'm not judging anyone who makes/posts OCs, but I really think it's not what creepypasta is supposed to be about. I miss the days when creepypasta was all about reading and writing terrifying stories, but now this community has kind of become quite different from what it was intended to be. Not meaning to judge, but I think that people who think creepypasta is all about creating generic animesque serial killer OCs or writing romance fiction about Jeff the Killer are really missing the whole point of the genre. I think that the FNAF fandom grappled with the same problem, since it was originally intended to be scary and just got turned into a source material for people to make their OCs.
I don't want to go on a rant here. I was just wondering if anyone else on the wiki had a similar opinion as me, given the question that was posted here earlier about whether some of us are irritated by specific aspects of the fandom.
Do you think many fans today are totally missing the whole idea of creepypasta, or do you enjoy this side of the community?
