In my time on the wiki, both with and without an account registered, I've often seen a trend of people enjoying complaining about cringeworthy or otherwise insufferable people who like to write low effort stories involving OCs or existing characters; and while I agree that these kinds of discussions and pastas are unnecessary and do nothing for the site other than give it a bad name, I believe in actions speaking louder than words.
In essence, I think it's redundant to preach to the choir over and over when every one of us who find those things irritating could be actively improving the overall quality of the wiki by contributing stories that are of substantial value to the community; as this in turn will quickly offset the inevitability of roleplaying and the like.
That being said, this isn't me trampling on anyone's right to complain about things they dislike, this is just my opinion on the subject.
