theyre usually set in the 80s, a playplace or a overly colourful neighborhood, or just a dark and abandoned place.

noone knows who published the first image of a liminal space, but the person who did had probably been inspired by the backrooms, an endless universe/reality, which you could noclipped/sent too if your not careful with ur presence.
