I've always thought that Slenderman killing people through anomalous means was a bit more fitting/interesting than him using his tentacles as weapons. His presence alone being a weapon in of itself through proximal afflictions is something I would include.

I kinda liked the motif in the Arrival game where for some reason the radio tower was a safe zone. Whether it was the ironclad nature of the building itself or perhaps a peculiar asynergy that occurs when Slenderman is in it's radius, the idea that theres some mundane but mystical defense against him is kind of a cool idea.

Thanks for making this post. It sent me down a rabbit hole of a bunch of different wikis and places, from the Fear Mythos generally to the Slender Man Mythos more specifically.

To be honest, I had never thought of an ideal power set for Slender Man because I assumed that these would include whatever powers were expedient. To be honest, the idea of there being a single Slenderman didn't appeal to me as much as the idea of multiple vaguely similar things with different powers.

I guess I wrote a story about the Slender Man at one point, and in that story, the Slender Man's powers aren't strictly defined, but his unusual actions include:

• Driving cows to eat human flesh and each other

• Making humans cough up blood, making them paranoid, and turning them into an airborne mist of blood droplets

• Leaching the chlorophyll from plants

To be honest, it is not a well thought-out story and I basically wrote it because I was not able to delete a specific page at that time. I guess that in the end, I do not care very much about the Slender Man except as a nondescript tool to invoke horror. I feel like your understanding of the Slender Man is far better than mine.
