1st: Mario gets reffered to in 3rd person by the narrator and Yoshi.

The narrator reffers to Mario in 3rd person. while this might have other reasons, Yoshi introduces themselves to you like you never knew them and reffers to Mario in 3rd person too.

2nd: Luigi is also different

While the creepypasta never adresses Luigi, if you play the rom hack in 2 player mode instead of Luigi's sprite having a slight alter unlike Mario's, He's completely different.
