Hola, mi amigos! Hope you're all doing well. I'll cut to the chase: we're having a writing contest based on horror villains. We are collaborating with the Villains Wiki to host a competition. We also have help from the Facebook groups Creative Writers and Fiction Writing. Here's the deal:
Rules
- Each contestant will be given a villain to write a short story about. It must be between fifteen hundred and twenty-five hundred words.
- Each story must be a horror story (dark humor and other darkened genres will be accepted).
- Each story must meet basic grammar, spelling, and other writing guidelines.
- Stories can be NSFW, but they can not involve graphic rape or pedophilia.
- If your story is deemed to be below our quality standards, it will be deleted at which time you can try again.
- Only one entry per user.
- The entry must contain the character and other horror elements and will be judged on how well it does so.
- Once all entrants are supplied they will enter into a poll for one week where users may vote for their favorite. The winners of this vote will determine the winners. (Please note, we have staff that can look up if multiple votes are being cast from one place. Let's keep it mature, please.)
Time
Everyone has until Sunday, June 25 to complete your story. This will give a week for voting. No extensions will be give (I mean come on, it's twenty-five hundred words or less).

- First place - The Hannibal Lector series. (Silence is a bit used, not creased, but I buy books in bulk. The other two are brand new.)

Please be patient with getting your character. We will be as quick as possible but time zones play a factor as well as real life. Best of luck to all of you!
