I have read some Creepypastas with this concept, they sorta fall flat a lot of the time, but there are cases where it works and it can become a very interesting and yield a lot of scares and intrigue for a story.

It's an extremely difficult concept to inplement in a story, It takes a lot of imagining, disproving disbelief and clever writing to actually work with fruition. Most stories wont have them, and the ones that do, handle it very carefully.

This is seemingly a similar case to the Backrooms wiki I visited a bit ago, There's a lot of disconnect with the pages, and the stories.

There are these sorts of posts, with arguments exactly like these, in every single wiki eventually.

It's also like walking amongst a trip-mine, a bomb waiting to go out. In the end it really is just best to ignore these sorts of posts.
