Heads up, as I hate to see this getting removed from the wiki!
https://creepypasta.fandom.com/wiki/Creepypasta_Wiki:Spinoffs
Sadly, you can't post stories based on intellectual properties here; if you REALLY want to post one, you can share this story via the spinoff appeal, which should be linked to on that page. Not to say you should give up on this idea; this is interesting, but I suggest putting it somewhere else.
Jesus christ...yeah, I really hate that.
Yeah, use fandom on desktop or the one on your phone via your browser. Mind you, that Fandom on mobile is pretty limited but not too limited like the app (as I never understood how to post stuff efficiently).
I preferably want you to use the one on desktop.
Nah, this fandom isn’t dead. Check the recent changes section and see the wiki and social activity. People are still posting stories, admins are doing what they’re supposed to and people are commenting on articles.
Thank you for this comment. I’ve noticed how poor criticism on creepypastas has become for a while now, so before you came along, I started enforcing proper, constructive criticism on my own wikis to prevent the usual “this sucks and is clichéd!1” type of comments.
Yeah, I saw that on the list and I just pretended that I didn’t see it.
Yeah, check that page for more official information.
From what I understand, it seems to refer to someone experiencing something "tragic" (I put that in quotes because the reasons are usually overdone and not very justifiable—like being a victim of a bully. This one, in particular, annoys me since I’ve seen it in literally every JTK-inspired story). Basically, it’s about someone going through hardship, becoming evil, and then killing people. Sorry for the rant, but from what I’ve seen, creepypastas about serial killers are fine, as long as they aren’t just copies of Jeff the Killer.
I apologize if I came off as rude, that wasn’t my intentions. I am just saying the truth, I am barely ever active here and that’s not what I do here. 💔
When a contest starts here, it is usually a automatic announcement sent to your notifications. If you still have questions, I feel like Cornconic or any of the admins here would explain it better as I am not as into the technical aspects of these things.
I am not always active here and that’s just not my job to do. When a contest starts, you should get it through the notifications.
@Cornconic I think the OP is curious about any contest being made or at least plans for a new one.
I believe you, and honestly, you are not the only member of this wiki who posted spinoff work.
It's ok by the way
Yeah, that would be a good move right there, but I should note that if you REALLY want to post a Mother story here, you should try out the spinoff appeal before posting one yourself next time.
https://creepypasta.fandom.com/wiki/Creepypasta_Wiki:Spinoff_Appeal
Just a heads up, you should really read this page before posting these types of stories; this site does not allow works based around existing properties. The Mother series counts:
https://creepypasta.fandom.com/wiki/Creepypasta_Wiki:Spinoffs
I hope you charged your phone
To add to what William said: if you really think if your JTK-inspired story is good enough for the site, you can use this page: https://creepypasta.fandom.com/wiki/Creepypasta_Wiki:Spinoff_Appeal
Though, keep in mind, just like the deletion appeal, many of these requests don't always get approved. But hey, trying doesn't hurt.
I am not a admin here but I always suggest using the spin-off appeal whenever someone mentions wanting to post spin-off works. If you don't want to see your work denied, I highly suggest the Spinpasta wiki.
Yeah to be specific on CPLW, I adopted it recently and hired Owl as an admin along with other folks, @HopelessNightOwl thank you for mentioning the wiki and recommending it but yeah, we accept missing episodes and video games based on existing properties. I don't mention this genre but I do also allow theorypastas about existing properties on CPLW, to an extent, you need to put some work into the theories.
Yeah, that is true lol
That's pretty much the trollpasta wiki.
