Say hello to the new PotM for August, 2022!
Thank you to everyone who voted and to the authors behind the nominated stories!
It's not terribly appropriate to post unsolicited off-site material here or on any fandom wiki.
If you're concerned about your story's ability to meet the QS, perhaps post it to the workshop.
The main character from Crash and Burn
I didn't know you wrote SCP stuff. Did you enjoy it? I've heard mixed things about the community.
If it's about an OC, then try the creepypastafiles wiki. The other sites don't host OCs, and neither do we.
Your Pokemon creepypasta would not be allowed. Not without a spinoff appeal, at least. You can try some of the other creepypasta wikis that have more lax rules, like maybe Spinpasta or Geoshea's. They still have standards to adhere to, though.
Yeah, it was posted here a very long time ago, and not by the original author. From my research, I can't find anyone to credit it to.

I accidentally voted yes, but it's definitely not.
I'm sure it's been an inspiration for many SCPs though.
This isn't really a place for mental health discussions, venting, or motivational speaking. We're a community focused on reading and writing spooky stories.
If you like to read spooky stories, you're in the right place.
If you came for (almost) anything else? You're not.
I legit made that beer, and it wasn't very good. Not carbonated enough, not sour enough, probably incredibly low alcohol, super mild on the malt and hops flavours... Not to mention the scoby went wild and encapsulated most of the bottle. I still have most of the batch, in my basement. I want to drink a ton of it one day and see if I get a buzz, or turn into some waxy, eldritch being of e-coli-fighting proportions.
Bruh, "The Brew" is probably my absolute worst story, lmao
Read my terrible crap too. Especially the bad ones.
The PotM poll for August's PotM is live!
Please take the time to read the stories, and vote for your favourite!
Will there be an announcement for the announcement, or just this preparatory announcement?
Welcome back. Definitely looking forward to checking out your contributions.
Fret not, Mak. I will descend upon your comment sections as soon as real life releases its heinous vice-grip.
Strictly speaking, you can't. The rules are structured around only allowing original, creative content. Stories about/based off of already existing plots, characters, or media are not allowed (without a spin-off appeal).
What is the series you wanted to add on to?
Unfortunately, you can't really post any of these stories here. Bear in the Big Blue House and Super Smash Bros are pre-existing forms of media (TV shows and video games, respectively), and your story would therefore be a spin-off based on already established works.
The Chuck E. Cheese one could possibly fly. It's a big of a grey area, as all of the characters and themes of it are the existing intellectual property of others. Furthermore, it would likely fall into the over-utilized tropes associated with all the FnaF inspired stories.
Try thinking up a creative and original story with characters that you've made. Fresh and original stories are often much better anyway.
There's a spin-off appeal, where you can link your off-site story for wiki staff to judge whether the quality is high enough, and the topic creative and original enough that it belongs on the site.
The standard for these appeals is generally higher than the regular quality standards. If you have difficulty meeting QS normally, it may be a significant challenge.
I can't say that I thoroughly enjoyed either one... but the 2015 rewrite (along with others from the contest) were actually much better than the original. The Quality Standards of this wiki are not ridiculous, or unobtainable. If a story falls short of meeting them, it's gotta be a real stinker (original JtK).
