I had a lot of fun writing this, I hope you all like it!

@William See Agreed, and I am active on the Sonic Oddities Wiki (which is basically an EXE community, but with WAY more variety). The whole idea of X never made sense to me as horror, either. A sadistic, eldritch god trapped in a PC version of Sonic The Hedgehog of all things? Yawn.
Now, I understand that weird concepts can work (like the Burgrr Entries), but the fact it's taken so seriously is just laughable. Plus, X's whole character is just the textbook definition of "Too Evil, Stopped Caring".
Overrated: Tomino's Hell and Lavender Town Syndrome (although I love the latter, and the former poem itself. I just don't like the Tomino pasta because of the image it uses, which is vent art)
Underrated: Baby Sid and Dog Children (Dog Children is actually what brought be back into modern creepypastas)
The Strix from Roman mythology. Basically an owl stretched into the shape of a person. The concept of man-birds (like tengu, or the Toriningen from Yume Nikki) always freaked me out for whatever reason, and that's probably why I find them so unsettling.
Not to mention the most infamous one, the one where the Soviet Russians find God in the woods. We don't even know what it's called.
Mind if I screenshot. This image goes hard.
Me about to buy a cursed VHS at a yard sale and the guy selling them warns me.
Elaboration:
A liminal space is a place that is "transitional" and not meant to dwell in (ie. a mall atrium, an airport, a school hallway) usually shot by amateur photographers. They often evoke a feeling of sad nostalgia/paranoia.
@Cornconic post-writing it, I completely agree with your point about it being unfocused. I'm pretty sure I was TRYING to imply that the Soft Fuzzy Man was a sort of... manifestation of the house of smth. I don't know, I don't remember much of yesterday.
Oh God, I remember this one. I remember seeing something about that when I was younger and getting lectured by my mom about being able to distinguish fiction from reality.

@William See As a FNAF fan (at least of the first 4 games), I agree 100%
If you changed a portion of it to have a more serious tone, yes.
Candle Cove, specifically the Something Scary reading of it
I know
Only things missing are the K-Fee zombie commercial and Salad Fingers
You can publish it on the Lost Episode Wiki if you want to publish it somewhere else. And after you write the story (if it's good enough), you could maybe get Spinoff Appeal (which allows one of the mods to add your story here, too)
So, terrifying "biblically accurate" angels are fair game?
@ChenArchive I read it, and it was honestly refreshing seeing something like that. No clue why everyone was complaining about it being "not scary", when creepypastas don't really have to be like that (see Candle Cove, for example, which is more mysterious than scary).
@Dr. Frank N. Furter , well, it's a MyHouse.wad-type bittersweet ending
No spoilers for what I'm writing, but I'm going to give an upcoming story a good ending. Just wondering how it fits into the standard format of pastas, if that's a thing...
