Ship engine module struck by asteroid. Emergency repairs made to the reactor over the course of three days. Meltdown averted. Engine status: Operational, although damaged. Life Support status: Safe. Crew count: 325. Continuing on current course for Ti’aronda outpost. New ETA has been calculated to be 56/92/3, as a result of asteroid impact.

83/90/3-

Engine has been uncooperative. Parts required. Crew morale is low. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew count: 325. Continuing on current course for Ti’aronda outpost.

Our radar has located a derelict freighter of similar type to ours, approximately three days out. Parts for engine suspected. Side directive changed to salvage. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew count: 325. Course changed to derelict freighter.

87/90/3-

Arrived at derelict freighter. Docked alongside vessel. Dispatched salvage team, as well as a sonar-mapping probe. Estimated time of salvage retrieval is two days. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew count: 325. No course currently set.

89/90/3-

Salvage team still absent. Communications lost. Sonar probe lost. Armed recovery team sent in with camera feed. Awaiting return. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew count: 310 (excluding the salvage crew). No course currently set.

90/90/3-

Camera feed of recovery team shows heavy signs of damage to the inside of the ship, as well as unidentifiable sludge. Hazmat measures taken. Previously received mappings from the sonar probe identify a strange masses scattered throughout the ship. Team proceeding with caution. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew count: 310 (excluding the salvage crew). No course currently set.

91/90/3-

Recovery team locates the remains of the salvage crew, heavily dismembered. Camera feed picks up audible screeching noises as the recovery team enters defensive positions. In the corridor opposite the group, a large swarm of small, insectoid creatures swarm towards the recovery team, engulfing them. Sealed suits hold them at bay, but some manage to break through. Heavy casualties are taken. Recovery team manages to return to ship, sent to medical bay. Immediate departure from the derelict vessel is enacted. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew Count: 302(accounting for casualties). Course set for Ti’aronda outpost.

92/90/3-

Survivors have fallen into a coma, exhibiting abnormal brain activity. Each placed in high security medical pods. Scans have revealed nothing unusual with the body itself. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew Count: 287 (accounting for those in coma assumed dead). Continuing on current course for Ti’aronda outpost.

96/90/3-

Ship has entered lockdown procedures. Corridors have been flooded with gas. Bulkheads have been sealed. Intruder is that of the insectoid swarm aboard the derelict freighter, although means of origin are unknown. Engine status: Barely Operational.  Life Support: Safe. Crew Count: 214. Continuing on current course for Ti’aronda outpost.

97/90/3-

Lockdown procedures have proved ineffective. Swarm has been found to be using ventilation shafts as a means for transport. Origin of the swarm has been found to be microscopic eggs implanted within the survivors of the recovery team. Heavy casualties have been sustained. Engine status: Barely Operational. Life Support status: Safe. Crew Count: 134. Continuing on current couse for Ti’aronda outpost.

98/90/3-
