A live stream. I’m sorry for starting off like that but that’s all I can think of right now the literal name of the stream was called “A live stream”. I suppose I should elaborate on this subject, so here I go. I get bored during the summer, so I go to YouTube and mess around clicking on random videos and watching live streams. I guess you can say I went a little too deep. I found a live stream by a creator named Iamnobody. The stream was called “A live stream. Very creative name, I thought to myself. Out of boredom, I clicked it. There was a man, not showing his face, stirring a pot with gloved hands. I was ready to click off when I heard his voice, it had sounded like it was cracking, almost deep but not quite. I stay to listen. “The stream will be ending soon and I’ll continue to cook for my pets tomorrow.” Why did he put stress on “pets”? The guy was sounding strange, but I didn’t know the half of it then.
Around the same time the next day I went to see if he was streaming. When I saw that he was live, I clicked it I was still somewhat curious about this guy. Maybe it was his energy, or the way he spoke, or possibly the way he said “pets,” but something didn’t quite settle right with me. He was still stirring a metal pot with a wooden spoon and still not showing his face. In a less cracked voice, but still deep, he had begun to talk. “In today’s stream, I will add the final ingredients to this concoction I made for my lovely pets,” again with that weird stress on the word pets. “I’ll introduce you to these wonderful creatures tomorrow. Save the link that is in the description and check it out at this time tomorrow, and I’ll teach you how to feed your pets.” He continued streaming for less than ten minutes, then the stream cut off. By now I wanted to know why he seems so strange and what was up with the stress on the word “pets.” I’m starting to think it’s not what I think it means. I save the link to go to tomorrow; I just have to see what exactly are his“pets”. I’ll just have to wait and see.
All night I had sat up wondering just what I might witness on this new stream, but less than five minutes before the stream starts on the link from before, there’s a link to a different site. On that site there’s a chat similar to YouTube, but the site is private invite only and the camera is faced on an empty, dimly lit room with a chair in it. A person with a black bag over their head stumbles in along with a man. The person who came in second took the bag off the first person. He points down to the ground and it looks like the other person obeys and gets on all fours. He sets a dog bowl on the floor and walks towards the camera. This time his face is being shown. He’s blind in one eye, I can tell because his left eye is grey and his face looks like it’s been severely burned. He talks to us. “As you can see, my pet is ready to eat its food.” He shows the camera a pot filled with the stuff he was cooking before. “If he doesn’t eat, there will be... consequences”. He raises up a knife to show the viewers, he then turns around and walks toward the other person and scoops the so-called “food” into the dog bowl. The person hesitates, gets closer, and finally takes a bite. In less than ten seconds, he spits it out and I watch in horror as Iamnobody kicks the person in his face repeatedly. His screaming fills my headphones and I look away in horror.
Why am I watching this? I could have stopped anytime I wanted, but I continue to look at it. Why do I continue to look at this? I stop mid-thought. I’m thinking about it too much. “I should think of a way to stop this guy,” I say to myself, wondering what to do. I decided to record it. “To turn this freak into the police,” I mumble to myself. My program opens, but a terror-filled scream fills my headphones, I quickly click back to see the man stabbing the person multiple times while forcing the man’s face in the food like the maniac I thought he was. I watch in horror as the man continues, until he stops and the person shivers on the ground while the man repeatedly kicks him on the ground. Iamnobody walks to the camera and looks at it as if he was looking me in the eye, I know I wasn’t the only one watching but, but I felt him staring at me. It gave me chills and made me paranoid. “My pet did not want to listen.” He pauses and continues. “I will bring in its brother, hopefully he will eat my food.” I watch him as he seemingly is going to turn around but he stops and faces the camera again. “I want to see how they” he strains his voice as he says it. He walks off camera, back to where he first entered, and drags another person inside, repeating the same process as before. This time, though, the person eats it and sits in the chair. Iamnobody pats the person on the head slowly until the person sitting in the chair threw up on him, and in a split second Iamnobody grabs him by the throat and then takes the knife and he forces open the person’s mouth with a knife in his hand. At that point, I had threw off my headphones. I didn’t think I could have stomach any more of it.
I notice the name of the site - Strangelives.net. There’s a small home icon at the top left corner and in horror I stare at other live streams, even worse than this one. The titles seem like your normal clickbait title but when you click the actual stream, the videos they show are sickening. I go and look for my recording so I can turn this site in, but I freeze as I realize I forgot to press record! I hope to get rid of this guy, so I had went to look for his channel on YouTube, but the channel Iamnobody isn’t there. The strange thing is I never tried to record it again, I just watched it. I still wonder if I should have went back to record again but, I couldn’t I get sick and scared even thinking about. I barely wrote this.
