I also have to say that I think "The Gym Teacher" gets way too much clout. Why would being a vile creature turn a person into a wolf? that's Canidophobia... speciesistic bigotry... and other buzzwords... It's just a weird reasoning "wolves are terrible" no, they're awesome.
Superdoggos of the wild.
Also, the notion that dire wolves were some gigantic godzilla of a dog thing is silly to me. In fact, the common Dire Wolf was 25 to 30% larger than the Gray Wolf, that makes them about the size of a large Great Dane. It's NOT that big.
What about a dire, dire wolf than?
Is it more dire? or it is then?
it's a wolf dire-er than dire.
Haven't read much, but I was never exactly impressed with Squidward's Suicide. Even when I first read it as a twelve year old I wasn't freaked out by it at all.

Because it isn’t. It’s a story that relies purely on gore for shock value. At least Suicidemouse.avi had a bit of a scare factor in that the last three minutes are never really explained, letting the reader decide what it really was (unless you watch the video, but it’s better to just leave it up to your imagination).

I didn't even consider it gory. Just a story I ended up forgetting about for years.
Honestly I want to try and rewrite it, breath new life into the story by, rather than making it shock value, instead deconstructioning it, examining each piece and showing how it could have worked.
I personally dislike Squidward's Suicide
My reasoning for disliking Squidward's Suicide is because it relies on gore and shock to scare the reader, and does a terrible job at it. It's one of those "Blood and Child Death=Scary" stories. And don't get me started on the stupid "Hyper-Realism" trash, I hate that. Sure, it may be an overrated opinion, but it's a bad story and I still don't get why it's on the Wiki, but I'm not gonna get into that.

This is the worst thing I've ever seen make PotM and the fact it won the vote left me feeling profoundly disappointed in humanity. It sums up everything wrong with r/nosleep. It's a bunch of unrelated ideas slammed together in the desperate hope of making something frightening.
But on a positive note: r/nosleep can produce some truly fantastic stories. The Spire in the Woods is phenomenal. It has a paltry 580 upvotes but is probably the best thing to ever come out of that subreddit.
The worst thing I ever saw on NoSleep is this popular story. Someone uploaded it on this wiki and I immediately flagged it for deletion.
I know this is kind of an old post but one of my all time favorite horror stories is Doctor Margin's Guide to New Monsters from nosleep. Probably the best thing on that site.
