It was night time. Darkness consumed the city below, as there was no moon. No stars. There was only one light on. This light came from a house. This light flashed on, then off, then back on. It was a T.V. The intro song of family guy echoed throughout the house. A teenager was laying on the couch, watching the T.V. show. Laughter escaped his lips, but it only lasted for a minute. He looked over towards the clock. "12:05." He whispered to himself. A low sigh escaped his lips. "Time for bed I guess." He said to himself. He turned off the T.V. and yawned. He slowly got up, and started to walk to his room, but shortly after taking a few steps, he stopped. A little giggle echoed through his ears. He quickly turned around. Luckily, his eyes had already adjusted to the darkness.
A little girl. That's all the teen saw. She was wearing a bright red short sleeve shirt with a pink skirt that reached to her knees. She held something, but it wasn't that clear yet. The teen looked a little closer. It was a bear. The dark brown bear was smiling towards him. It had such a devilish smirk, it sent chills down the boy's spine.
His eyes widen at the sight. On the bears hands and some on his chin was a bright crimson red liquid. Blood. Some was also dripping down the girl's right hand. The boy backed up a little. Goosebumps was forming on his skin. Fear was slowly taking him over.
The girl giggled once again. It was such a happy giggle, it was like she was enjoying watching him squirm like a pathetic insect. It was like, she enjoyed the fear he had.
She spoke in a soft, playful tone. "Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Come and play with me. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. I killed your family. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. You are next." She giggled once more. Her timing was perfect with the clock. Every tick. Every tock. It was just so in tune with it.
The boy shook in fear. He tried to back up, but couldn't. His body wouldn't obey him. It was like, he was paralyzed with his own fear.
She had such a playful smile, watching the boy shake. She was enjoying every last second of this. Just watching him squirm and shake. It was so pathetic to her, but so amusing. She spoke once again. "Let's begin this fun game." With that, the little girl vanished into the darkness.
The boy's breath was still heavy. He couldn't decide if this was his imagination, or if this was real. His breathes slowly went back to normal, thinking that all of this was just in his head. He shook his head, and slowly stood up. He made his way back to his bed, and slowly went to sleep.
The next morning came. Police cars rushed through the streets. Sirens echoed throughout the city. The police cars stopped at the boy's house. The police ran inside the house. The teen boy was holding his knees, crying. Right in front of him, was a man's and a woman's headless bodies. Their heads were found right next to the bodies. Their eyes showed great fear, great misery, yet, they were smiling. Both, the female and the male's heads, were smiling such a playful smile. The sight of this made the police officers shake in fear.
The policeman raced towards the teen male, wanting him to get away from this horrific scene. He took the boy to his police car, and drove off. The trip only took a few hours, even though it seemed like days. Throughout the trip, questions roamed through the boy's mind. 'How did this happen? When did this happen? Does it have to do with that girl I saw?'
Finally, they reached the police station. The cop took the boy into the interrogation room to question him about what had happened. When the boy answered his questions, the cop couldn't believe it. A little girl? Killing two adults? It just didn't seem likely, but they agreed to hear him out.
The boy described the little girl. It made it seem like he had a bad dream.
One of the police officers sighed. They then took the teen into a room with a one sided mirror. Right behind the mirror was some criminals. Some were little boys, but most of them were adults.
The teen shook a little, remembering every little detail of the girl. He spoke in a frighten tone. "N-No. It's none of them. Why don't you listen. I-It was a little girl, w-with a blood red short sleeve shirt and a pink skirt. She was holding a teddy bear, b-but the teddy bear had this smile. I-It was like a devilish, evil smile." He tried to explain to them once again.
The police told him that they will find the little girl who did this, and put them in jail. Of course, they said it like he was going crazy.
If they were trying to comfort the teen, it had failed, but the boy still nodded. The police left the room. He sighed, and looked towards the criminals once more. His eyes widen at the sight. He quickly backed up, but lost his balance. He fell to his butt, but kept his eyes focus on the horrific sight. This was just too unbelievable. It seemed even impossible.
All of the criminals heads were hanging down some chains. They had such a joyful smile, but all of their eyes were closed.
It sent chills down his spine. The teen boy looked towards the headless bodies.
Right in the middle of the room was that same little girl from his house, still holding that same teddy. The teddy still had that devilish smile. Suddenly, the girl's little voice echoed in the boy's head. "Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Come and play with me. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. I killed your family. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. You are next. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Don't run or hide. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. I'll kill you where ever you are." She let out a low giggle, and continued to look towards the teen boy.
His eyes widened once again. Fear quickly consumed his boy. He let out such a horrified scream. He couldn't take it anymore. It was all just too much for him.
Immediately, the cops ran into the room. When they saw the fear in his eyes, they quickly turned to see what he was staring at. The criminals. One of the cops sighed and walked towards the boy.
The teen spoke in such a horrified tone. "I-It was her. S-She did it."
The cop looked a little confused. He replied to the teen. "Did what? Nothing has changed. Why did you scream?" The cop commented.
The teens breathing was heavy. He blinked, and saw all the criminals. They were still lined up. All of them were still alive.
He shook his head in denial. He couldn't believe this. "N-No. I saw her. A-All of their heads were cut off because of her." He explained.
The cops looked at one another, then back at the teen. "Hey. I got a nice place where you will be safe from this girl, ok?"
The boy nodded. He slowly got up.
The cop exits the room, then the building. He made his way to his car. The boy followed, still a little shaky. They both got inside the car, and was off once again.
Throughout the whole trip, the boy kept shaking. He kept thinking about the girl and about what he just saw. 'I-It can't be my imagination. No. Not this time. This time, it was real. I saw it with my own eyes. I-It was real.' He thought to himself.
Hours had passed, and finally, they got to their destination. The insanity house.
The cop got out of his car, and opened the door for the boy.
Of course, the boy shook his head in denial. "N-No.... I'm not insane. You have to listen to me. I saw her." He says to the cop.
The cop sighed. "I know. Just come with me inside. I want you to meet someone. Trust me." The cop replied.
The teen nodded in agreement, and went with the cop.
Unfortunately, the cop lied. When they got inside, the cop told the front desk lady about him. Two men exits the double doors beside the front desk and went towards the boy. They grabbed him, and started to take him through the double doors.
He screamed for the cop, but the cop just stood there, watching them drag him away. He struggled for a bit, until he saw her. The little girl, standing right beside the cop. He screams once more. "NO. DON'T YOU SEE HER? SHE'S RIGHT THERE BESIDE YOU. LOOK." He screamed, and screamed.
The cop just turned away, walking towards the front door. He didn't even see the little girl. It was like she was invisible to him, but not to the teen boy.
The double doors closed. The two men dropped the boy off into a chamber. The chamber looked almost like a prison. One bed, and on the opposite side was a toilet and a sink. The bed had green covers, covering the white sheets.
A few weeks passed. That little girl's voice kept getting louder and louder inside the boy's head, with each passing day. He could still hear that dreadful, joyous tune. The teen boy was sitting in the corner of the chamber, hugging his knees. He started to rock back, and forth, but it was only for a little while. He looked towards the chamber's door, and sees a little girl, with a bright red short sleeve shirt with a pink skirt that reached to her knees.
She was holding a teddy bear with such a devilish smile. The girl giggled and started to walk towards the teen boy.
His breathing became heavy, and his eyes was full of fear. He softly spoke, in a terrified, yet calm tone. "Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Come and play with me....Tick, tock. Tick, tock. I killed your family. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. You are next. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Don't run or hide. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. I'll kill you.....where ever you are...."
