My name's SOMEGUY and I'm finally applying for this right, since Maria said we need more admins who are active and do shit, and Callie and I are exactly that. I've been thinking to make this app for a while now but never really got the chance to until Callie and Fatal said I should, so here's my app.
- I could help with the deletion appeal, since VCROC members can't view deleted pages.
- Ability to delete blog posts/close threads, etc. without having to add ?action=delete next to the url. (same as Callie).
- I could make temp mods in chat when there aren't any mods on, we had problems with that once, a few users were breaking as many rules are they could and spammed the fuck out of chat which appeared on the logs.
Must have been active on the wiki for six months: I've been active for about 7/8 months.
Must have at least 800 edits, 600 of which must be on articles: 1,823 edits, 947 on articles.
Must know how to categorize pages: Yes.
Must know how to move files and pages: Next to edit button, rename.
Must know how to delete pages and files: Next to edit button, delete.
Must know how to block a user for an appropriate amount of time: As stated in my previous app: "Creating a spam page: 3 days, vandalism: 2 weeks, plagarism: 1 month (then report to staff), and warnings for small stuff like adding a nonexistent category."
Must be familiar with the layout of the wiki: Yes.
So yeah, that's pretty much it.
