Creepypasta Wiki

Good day fellow denizens of the Creepypasta Wiki. I have decided to finally through my hat in the ring for admin.

Reasons[]

  • I have been a consistently active user, rarely missing a day's occurrences on our beautiful site.
  • I am quite active in Discussions (locking, changing cats, informing users of the rules, and removing threads/comments that breach Discussion's rules).
  • Regularly, I delete (when necessary), edit, rollback, and monitor all content on the site.
  • I work towards fostering positive community engagement through contests, polls, and other interactive methods of yoinking chuckleheads out of Discussions, and into somewhere that matters.
  • I crave power.
  • Many of my capabilities are hindered by my position as Rollbacker/C-mod/D-mod. For example, I am powerless to affect blog posts/ban users/break the wiki CSS every time my coloured name stop working.

What Would I Do With All This Power?[]

You may wonder why it is that I believe I need it, and what I would do with it. Basically, I would just do the same ol' crap I normally do, but with more autonomy. As much as I know Billy, Cleric, and Corn like when I ping them in Discord, whinging about some user's blogicle blog post, I think my becoming an admin could smooth things out a little more.

Requirements[]

PREREQUISITE: Rollback 🗸

  • Must have been active on the wiki for six months. 🗸
  • Must have at least 800 edits, 600 of which must be on articles. 🗸
  • Must know how to categorize pages. 🗸
  • Must be familiar with the Quality Standards and Blacklist and exercise their best judgement in deletions. 🗸
  • Must know how to move files and pages. 🗸
  • Must know how to delete pages and files. 🗸
  • Must know how to block a user for an appropriate amount of time. 🗸
  • Must be familiar with the layout of the wiki. 🗸

As you can see, I have put a pretty little green checkmark (🗸) next to each of the requirements, which clearly illustrates that I meet them.

In closing, while I may not have the same long-term record as the current admin team, my history as a user on this wiki is Clean and Clear, and under control™. I not only constantly strive to be a positive and contributing member of this community, but also to inspire others to do the same. Now gimme dat purple.

Support - Giving Te more power is a clear recipe for organized chaos and dictatorial anarchy, so what are we waiting for? Macciata (talk) 17:51, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

Support - Ughhhh, fineeeee. I guess you'd make an okay admin. Maybe.

Seriously though, I can't think of anyone more qualified right now who isn't already an admin. Welcome aboard. Cornco- *splutters and dies* (talk) 18:41, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

Support - I’ve been using this website since 2016 and when someone outright says that they crave power, they need to be trusted. But no they seem like an upstanding active user "We could have been so good together, we could have lived this dance forever..." 19:23, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

Support - We all knew this was going to happen at SOME point. Why delay the inevitable? :) - Aquainsanity13, because I somehow can't put my linked signature

Support - Eh, why not. He can't be any worse than Cornconic. ;) Kolpik (talk) 22:07, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

Support - Even if you were perhaps missing something like an edit count or active time I’d have probably voted “yes”, since the recent uptick in activity has left us a bit under staffed. And from there we can continue to rebuild the wiki. So yeah, epic. William See (talk) 23:00, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

Support -I was also under the impression that you were already an admin, so I think you will be a good admin. Squidmanescape (talk) 05:18, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
