Mod applications have opened up again and it's that time. A lot of good candidates to choose from, some of which have either never applied or were previously mods. I haven't applied before, I've been here since sometime before September 2013, under a different name most of you know (TBTP). I am familiar with all of the rules, I read them whenever they get updated and changed (Which has been a lot recently) but overall they haven't changed too much from the basic:
Do not spam
Do not disrespect mods/admins/bracts or users in general
Do not make drama
No sex talk
No racial or otherwise offensive slurs
ect.
I've been banned twice,' 'why? Well the first time, I overused the sex talk rule, the second time I disrespected an admin. This may decide whether you Support or Oppose but since then I've not overused the sex talk rule and I have made amends with that admin. Since then I've rarely been kicked, and the only bans I've gotten are the many, many requests I've made to escape chat but I follow the rules.
I've helped out many times to try to break up drama or deal with the many late night situations. I've been temporary mod twice and I was given the chance to trial mod (when this was a thing) for 3 days, a lot of the users and admins said I did well but I didn't get the part as mod since trial modding wasn't approved by the bcrats at the time. A lot of the users here believe I'd be a good moderator, and I hope it could be true.
I'll be on often, (I was on nearly daily before chat shutdown) but I will not be on as often as I was before, mostly late daily 6 PM - 3 AM or during the day depending.
