Welcome to the Creepypasta Wiki!
Proudly hosting 12,150 of your worst nightmares since 2010.

Please be sure to thoroughly read the wiki rules and our quality standards before you begin posting stories. Also, the Writers' Workshop is an excellent place to get feedback and advice on your story before posting it to the main site.

Check out the Content Hub for handy story-browsing features, and the Genre Listing to find stories by topic.

These stories were recently posted to our Writers' Showcase, where users can post their stories in need of some love. Please consider reading through them and leaving some feedback.

Featured Subgenre

The Halloween category is for stories about that spookiest time of year and includes 80 stories. There are many aspects of Halloween that these stories cover, including costumes, trick-or-treating, haunted houses, and Halloween rituals. The Halloween subgenre can be considered a type of meta-horror, which is horror fiction centered on horror media and popular culture.

As with many creepypasta subgenres, nostalgia is a common theme. These stories often take the kid-friendly trappings of Halloween and twist them into something darker.

How To Contribute

This wiki is always looking for new stories, however there are some things to keep in mind when contributing. Be sure to read the Rules and our Quality Standards before posting a story. Also, keep in mind that there are some Blacklisted Subjects for stories.

For new wiki writers, we recommend checking out the Writers' Workshop board. There, you can get feedback on story drafts.

Not ready to submit stories? That's fine, you can still contribute to the wiki in several other ways. You can help writers on the wiki by leaving feedback on Workshop drafts or on published stories. You can also review new stories for grammatical and spelling errors.
