We all have our own preferences over how we play, for instance Holgar uses anger to change things, and he has done some truly amazing things. He has made the humans kill each other for years, making them fight petty wars over their minor differences. He has inspired great leaders with his visions, people like Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, and of course Adolf Hitler. His games are always brutal, but other players have more subtlety.
I have never met someone as imaginative as Ethereal. She uses no anger or malice in her work, only joy. It's amazing what people will do when they are content. Jonestown was one of her great works, 900 people gone of their own will, thinking there was something beyond their own pitiful lives. The fear in their eyes when they arrived at their true destination was so… delectable.
When Holgar and Ethereal are teamed, it creates a whole other result. They infect individuals with both the emotions at once, making a correlation between the two, only feeling joy when giving in to their anger. They create truly evil people, at least as evil as you can get in their world. Jack the Ripper, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, they are all childs play. The killers that they made were never found.
Then we have Grint, who seems to just enjoy chaos. The Boston Massacre, The American Revolution, The Troubles, etc. Anything that had death or destruction he was a part of, it could be a military revolution or a malfunctioning grenade, he is there and smiling. He was never a key player, he just enjoyed making the rest of us mad.It could be a revolt in Holgars group causing him to lose control and one of the others to win, or he could have a sinkhole swallow a nuclear plant, that was one memorable endgame.
Our last member is Yardoscol, who was the one who suggested we make a game out of the humans. He uses greed to control humans. His power is the second most unique out of all of us in fact. The more wealth or influence a person has, the more control Yardoscol has over that person. However, it only works on people who got their fortune from ill gains, like criminals, exploitative CEO’s, and he had a hayday when Donald Trump was elected, it was like looking at a human version of Yardoscol. He had more control over him than he had of himself in our realm.
Then there is me. I control human memories. Do you ever wonder why parents forget their kids' age? Why you forget your wallet when you go to the store? Will you think twice when people forget they should not drink and drive? When they forget there are laws, or ethics. Will a second thought pass your mind when people forget murder is wrong?>
