Amusement Park Horror[]

When I was a kid, I always wanted to go to an amusement park with horror themes. My parents decided to take me to Horror Funland during the month of Halloween. Excited and thrilled, my mother asked me, "Are you happy, dear? We're going to have so much fun!" I said, "Yes, I am very happy! I can't wait to be there!" As we arrived at the entrance of the park, my father was looking for a place to park the car. As we finally got to the park's information booth to buy the tickets, we went to see all the attractions.

There were so many haunted houses and horror rides like the pumpkin roller coaster and some with zombies and monsters. It was scary, but some people were laughing and having fun. As we went towards our first haunted house, I felt someone watching me. A man in a clown costume, who seemed young but muscular and bald with a flat cap on his head and a buttoned white shirt with his sleeves rolled over his shoulders and suspenders holding up his pants, was looking at me with a creepy smile on his face. Confused and scared, I thought maybe it was someone just playing a joke, but the air was thick with fear and the feeling was uneasy. I told my parents if they had seen that man, but they saw no one, as if he had vanished into thin air. Thinking it was just my imagination, I brushed it off and continued to walk with my parents to the haunted house. My father joked, "Come on buddy, nothing will grab you!" as we stood in line to go in.

As we finally got inside the haunted house, I felt weird and scared. I didn't know what would actually happen in there. As we passed some rooms with scare actors, I felt like someone was beside me and following us the entire time. Feeling that my feet wanted to run, I noticed some props that looked too real to be fake.

"What is that? Why does that look so real?" I whispered to myself. Some odors made me feel sick to my stomach, and then I heard a voice whispering in pain, "Help me, please help me!" It was a teenage boy with a hoodie almost unzipped, strapped onto a carnival wheel of fortune with knives. Blood was on his hands, and some blood was about to drip from his mouth. My parents thought it was just a scare actor playing a trick on us, but the fear in the boy's eyes felt real. We saw another teenage boy with dark skin, also wearing a hoodie and cap, who was not moving at all. His eyes were closed, his mouth was almost open, and blood was dripping from it. He was also strapped, with knives stuck in his hands and one in his body. That's when I realized it was real; this wasn't just an act. Someone screamed in horror after discovering real people; nothing was fake at all. That's when I saw the same clown activating a machine that just killed the guy in front of us. I screamed and fainted.

Later, I woke up in the hospital. My parents were talking to some cops about what had actually happened. Unfortunately, they didn't find the guy, and he was still at large. I still got nightmares, knowing that psychopath was still out there. I didn't feel safe in my own town, so my family moved out the next week after Halloween, hoping never to experience this again.
