I have to say, the imagery was quite well written. The way certain things are described was excellent. If I'm being honest though, there wasn't much build up to the story in terms of horror, fear, or any of those emotions. The story did get confusing towards the end ,and felt rushed. Maybe you could add more to what happened during those few parts, and more to how the MC reacts to it all.
