I had to do it. It had to be done. I mean, they left me no choice.
I’m a doctor, and I was having an affair with a beautiful brunette woman. Her name was Janet. We were perfect for each other. I loved her, and I know that she loved me. I wanted to marry her, but there was just one little problem: Janet was married to a rich man named Jim. In order for her and I to be together, Jim had to go. You have to understand: I loved Janet, and I wanted us to be together. I had to do it. It had to be done.
As a doctor, I specialize in medicine. Especially potassium chloride. It’s a very effective way to get rid of your problems. After I started watching Jim, I managed to learn his routine. Then, when he wasn’t looking, I injected him with it. He died about seven minutes later. With Jim gone, Janet and I could finally be together. Or so I thought. I told her that I loved her, but she didn’t feel the same way. She didn’t want to continue our relationship. Not after losing her husband. That’s when I decided that if she didn’t want to spend the rest of her life with me, then she could spend it in prison.
When Janet wasn’t paying attention to me, I reached into her purse and stole her car keys. Then I made a copy of them and put the original set back in her purse. I used my set of her keys to break into Janet’s car, and I planted the syringe containing the potassium chloride in her glove compartment. Once the deed was done, I made an anonymous phone call to the police and told them where to find the syringe. Janet was arrested on the spot.
You have to understand: I had to do it. It had to be done. Jim and Janet had to go. Because if I hadn’t done it, then who would take care of their daughter, Julie? She’s alone now, and she needs someone like me to take care of her. Wouldn’t you agree?
