Now Sam was a lonely young man,
Who decided to work on a plan,
He wanted a friend,
So this loner did send,
An advert to all in his town.
Sam wanted to hear from some lady or guy,
Sometime who’d want to befriend him,
His heart was so pure, his intentions were sure,
He just wanted a person to hear him.
But the days became weeks,
And the weeks turned to months,
And soon it was almost a year,
So Sam sat and did cry, and gave out a sigh,
It was that or he’d keep shedding tears.
Now eventually young Sam got older,
His isolation was too much to shoulder,
His heart, once full of love, became twisted and dark,
And with time, he began to embark,
On a reign of terror unlike any you’ve seen,
You could not call it cruel and you could not call it mean,
What Sam did to people was simply pure evil,
His humanity wasted, his intentions were lethal.
So if ever you see a request for a friend, maybe spare a thought for whose heart you could mend.
For maybe it’s simply a sad lonely person, or maybe it’s Sam, and his condition has worsened.
