"Typical game over screen"?! Pokemon has no Game Over condition; when you run out of Pokemon, you white out and return to the last Pokemon Center. Also, while it IS possible to hack the Nintendo startup logo (as seen here) it's constrained to the space taken by the logo. [/buzzkill] Furbearingbrick 17:22, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

Actually in that game you "BLACK out" you don't "white out" until either the second or third generation, but yeah Pokemon doesn't have a Game Over screen, so that part was bullcrap.

As it said "a typical" and not "the typical" game over screen, I think it's supposed to be the only instance of a gameover screen in the game. The typical part is because gameover screens are (or were) pretty typical to see in videogames in general. RandomPhysicsNerd (talk) 15:48, January 3, 2013 (UTC)

The Sprites[]

All sprites shown here are the work of an artist known as Kami. All praise, critique and credit goes to her.

OH SHIT

Oh god the obliviousness HURTS. You can see brighter white around buried alive, and then, the eyes are RED on the game over, but it's a regular gameboy. So did the gameboy turn into a gameboy color suddenly?

Hello! I'm new to the forum, so i apologize if i make any mistake.

I'd like to add a drawing of the Game Over scene commissioned by me to a Deviant Art artist, but it tells me that i can't upload it. I don't speak english very well, so i couldn't understand the reason (something about "extend hook")
