Another philosophical pasta! Although that wasn't quite Diogenes' point, lol. I like it, it's skillfully written. The narrator finds such contrast between himself and the "simple man". He contemplates the nature of man brutally and without cease, and finds himself haunted by his own cynical conclusions. Too much the intelligentsia for his own good, maybe.
