The storm clouds were rolling in.
"Well isn't this lovely?" I asked sarcastically to my peers, who were enchanted by the clouds.
No response. They were still looking at the clouds.
"What are you looking at?" I asked.
Again, no response. This was just... odd. Abnormal behavior. I decided to ignore them.
Still, no response. I was starting to get a bit annoyed, but I just brushed it off.
The clouds still kept coming closer. I didn't see what interested them so much.
"Do you not see them?" One of my peers asked me. The first response since the clouds started rolling in.
"What?" I asked, stunned, "See what?"
"Are you blind? The girls! They're floating! It must be a magician practicing in the park..." he said, still in disbelief.
"Well, I can tell ya' I don't see any girls. None."
He turned his attention back to the non-existent "girls." I just sat there, staring at the wall. I didn't even notice the screaming. I didn't notice the people shaking me, trying to get me out of the room. I just sat there, ignoring them, thinking nothing of their actions.
I saw the blood. I saw the wicked grins upon the girls' faces. I noticed the demonic looks in their eyes. I saw them coming towards me. I saw them slit my throat. I saw it all. Yet I didn't say a word. My tongue was already removed when I had told of their existence last time. This was all a part of my punishment: a punishment that will never end.
