It was lunch hour at the Waterly Primary School, and the children were playing happily outside. A small group of them had claimed the sandbox, and were busy digging a firm hole.

When the bell rang, indicating that lunch break was over, all the children went back to their respective classes. But, when the class of Mr. Johnson had taken their seats, Mr. Johnson noticed that James was missing. He asked Jack, James' best friend, where he was.

"In the sandbox, Mr. Johnson."

"Why didn't he come in?"

"We tried, Sir, but he wouldn't come out."

"Out of where?"

"Out of the sandbox. We've been playing 'funeral,' Sir."
