So you want to be in one of the Creepypasta Wiki Anthology series?  Good news everyone!  Submissions are open from now (January 2nd) until then (February 1st).

If you want to be included in this or future editions of the series, please do the following in your post:

    1. List as many of YOUR OWN STORIES that you wish to offer up for submission. Do not offer up anything you have not personally written.
    2. In a separate paragraph, give an author blurb. What's that, you ask? It's a short informative statement about yourself and anything you want to say. You can talk about why you write or anything interesting about yourself. For reference, use http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:110302 to see what other people have submitted for blurbs.

This is 30 days of submissions for a book with 10 people per book. You can submit as many or as few stories of your own as you wish.

    • Hello, you can call me Brazzle, Shibyo, Mimicry, or even if you want to Jacob. Though my wikia handle is Shibyokoku2. I enjoy writing and as odd as it may seem I found myself starting out in the roleplay world. I enjoy both writing a good horror story though you can also find me curled up in high fantasy novels. I'm also what you'd call a night owl, I find solace in the night and my imagination usually tends to flow in solitude. Some of my favorite authors include but are not limited to: Charles Bukowski, Aleister Crowley, HP Lovecraft, Gerald Gardner, and Raymond Buckland.

I' like to submit the following stories.

      Death Shikyo

      and

Pillars If you have room Hero 1--15

Writing influences are Stephen King, James Patterson, Frank McCourt, James O'Baar, Tom Kapinos ( for his writing on Californiacation) and Anne Rice.

Travis (EmpyrealInvective) is a returned Peace Corps volunteer who worked as an agricultural volunteer in the Esteli department of Nicaragua. He spent a majority of his time there working, but always found time to read a number of stories from his favorite authors including: Kurt Vonnegut, HP Lovecraft, and Cormac McCarthy. He is currently a bureaucrat on the Creepypasta Wiki where he has over forty stories and four novellas.

    • Alright, here is my story, Unheard Messages. Also, I'd like to submit Hailey, if you have room.

Jack (Powellguy26) loves reading horror and watching horror films. Most of his stories he writes are influenced by past experiences. Other horror writers like Stephen King, Thomas Harris, HP Lovecraft, and even Slimebeast have influenced his love for creepypasta writing.

    • I'm not sure if there are any specific requirements for stories you want in your book, but I'd enjoy seeing one or three of my stories published.

These are the top 3 stories I'd like to have added, as I personally think they're my best. I hope they don't get taken off the wiki if they're added to your book though. I'd like them to be added in the following order (least favorite to favorite).

My Grotesque Nightmare, Ciravu's Gift, Road of Recurrence

"Hello! How's it going? Just kidding. I can't hear you. I'm ColorlessAngelz, or Angelz for short. I'm an amateur writer and YouTuber. As you've probably guessed, I'm pretty odd. I consider this a good thing though, as I pride myself on my unique personality as well as my integrity and, more relevantly, my creativity. I think and hope you'll enjoy my (current) top 3 CreepyPastas."

I hope that middle sentence didn't contain too many commas, heh. Anyway, if you do put in Ciravu's Gift, you may want to pre-read it for any possible grammatical or spelling errors, as it's pretty long and I may have missed a few. If you don't put it in, maybe you'll consider my true story, A_Stupid_Chain_Letter instead.

Edit: Since this post I've uploaded a micropasta titled I Slit My Own Throat Once. I'd either like to have that pasta replace My Grotesque Nightmare, or you could put both micropastas in, as well as my other micropasta A Buffering Movie. I'd prefer the latter, but it's up to you. If you do end up putting in all 5, or even 6 if you include A Stupid Chain Letter, be sure to change the end of my blurb accordingly.

    • And then Umby did it!

G.K.B. (aka Umbrello) is a lover of slow, twisted horror films and manga. He recently discovered creepypastas and started turning his own ideas into short stories. Highly influenced by asian cinema, David Lynch, and manga writer/artist Junji Ito, Umby's tales tend to leave the ultimate interpretation up the reader.

These are the 3 pastas I feel are "just right" (as in, I won't want to improve upon them later):

    • Greetings.

I go by the name of Typingpenguin and I've been on this website for a year or so now. Needless to say I am a horror fan, and sometimes I need to escape the cold realities of the real world for just a few brief hours by immersing myself into worlds that are, needless to say, much worse than mine. Honestly I can say there is nothing more that I love than the ambiguity of a horror story. The hazy feeling that locks itself inside of your gut, that travels up to your mind and generates paranoia all while simply generating the feeling of curiosity that makes the reader travel on. I guess you could say, that is why I like horror stories, and why I like writing. I write because first off I have a very active imagination which I feel is getting lost by most in this day and age.

My desire for writting though is just simply to take the reader out of their seat and immerse them into the strange yet wonderful worlds that I've created just simply to fascinate and entertain them, all while of course attempting to give them a good fright, so that for just a few moments they can forget about the troubles of the world around them and glimpse at something beyond themselves. While I may not be the most skilled of writers, I do believe that I am one of the most ambitious, constantly taking up tasks that mountain above the norm. In my writings there will be strange oddities, nightmare-like worlds, and above all else just simply my imagination being transitioned onto a computer screen.

That being said though, let's get to the point. I would like to submit my latest short story, which I have high hopes for, so that possibly you could enter it in. While my hopes may be high I am not ignorant to the fact that there are many career writers on here that will probably make something much more infatuating than mine. I put effort into this story though, and I hope that it reflects upon the writing. As of so far I've heard positive things about my story, which is why I guess I've built up the confidence to throw it to wolves, in the hope that it may join the pack of these lovley stories.

So, with that being said, here is my one and only submission, there may be more, or this may be the only one.

      Anesthesia

I hope you take the time out of your busy lives to give my story a chance. Wether the story makes it or not I still ask that you give an honest review, to help me improve with my little hobby. Thank you for your time.

      Sincerely,

      Typingpenguin

    • My name is David Rombouts (TheCreator14), and I live in the small, dreadful town of Crane, TX. There isn't much excitement in such an environment, so as a result I'm left to create an alternative of my own. What better way to do so than visualizing I'm in some kind of other world-- my imagination. I'm only a Sophomore in high school, so you can only imagine the hunger for something to do at all hours of life. My friend and I have been hooked on the idea of venturing off to a scary wonderland full of suspense, subtlety, and fright since the year or so ago when we began reading and listening to creepypastas. Just recently we've finally decided to put our own story-making skills to the test. We love the juicy thrill of each twist and turn that unfolds in each and every masterpiece, and that's precisely what inspired us. We'd like to entertain and bring nightmares among those who thirst for absolute fear. I hope these stories can quench that thirst we all have. Enjoy.

"Hello there, friend, my is name is Jon, and the words you read that you've come upon, are words of joy, and thrill, and laughter, for unnerved your soul will be there after. Of the dark and morbid are my works, all of which just make me smirk. For the world is fueled by madness and decay, so let's go out and laugh and play. Let's be friends and live together, for this life of horror will last forever."

Some of my work is inspired by the writing of Lovecraft and R.W. Chambers (particularly The King in Yellow), while the rest is made with the intention of simply being weird and different. I've written many stories, but only a few of them I judge as being personally acceptable in quality.

      I'd like to submit:

My main theme of writing is staying away from the Hollywood gore-horror cliche, boring over-used monsters–human and otherwise and horrible Sci-Fi Channel scenario featuring half-baked mutations and cheesy B-movie situations. My work also doesn’t involve Gothic haunted house settings and creepy families with a lot of skeletons in their closets nor does it involve a typical TV-like story where an evil villain is being stopped by a good hero(s).

My characters are just regular people everywhere, trying to make sense of the unexpected suddenly intruding in their hum-drum lives. While a few decided to fight back against “it,” most just run away or cower under the bed cowers.

Ethan (Ether Bot) enjoys to read and write horror, and in turn creepypastas. Inspired by classic horror movies, and modern horror comics, he tries to write stories more phsycological than horrifying, and tries to make those stories scare you nonetheless.

I have written eight Creepypastas, I will submit what I consider to be my best four, and really hope you select at least one of them to add to the book. I would love to have something published on paper. I have been writing most of my life, ranging from really poorly drawn comics to quite a few horror pieces. One of the stories that I will nominate for myself won 2nd place in the Damn Fine Pasta contest. My inspiration for my writing, as with everything else I do, is my family. Either way, here are my submissions, let's cross our fingers here.

Author Blurb: Hey i'm Timothy, Lord of the Rings enthusiast, magic the gathering addict, and of course a creepypasta lover at heart. In my writing I prefer a mental side to frightening my reader as opposed to a big monster that jumps out and scares you. • Shadowswimmer77 writes for fun when the mood strikes him with horror being far and away his favorite genre. Primary influences include H.P. Lovecraft, Bram Stoker, and Jim Butcher.  He is currently attempting an ambitious project to build a shared universe of stand-alone horror stories that will ultimately serve to tell a larger narrative. The first of these stories are The Wicker House (which was also accepted to creepypasta.com), Lights, and The Soldier.  Will he succeed in his task? Only time will tell.

I enjoy thrillers, courtroom drama, and I love to make people paranoid with my stories. I try to focus on the idea of realism as much as possible through my stories as to instill the possibility of it happening for sure, but I most likely fail. I like it when peopl give me feedback, as I try to edit to everyone's likes as much as possible. I am, however, a creature of the night, as you will often find me hibernating in my room with a laptop or a book in hand trying to conjure in my mind the next biggest thriller I can think of.

The name I write under is CharminglyShallow. I live in a small seaside town in England, which like most small places is boring on the surface, until you begin to scratch away at the scab of normality stretched thinly across it and find the festering pus of corruption and horror beneath, now oozing out and infecting your thoughts with the sick realisation of what lay barely contained, and is now loose upon your mind to rob you of your ease.

      ...ahem...maybe I should start again...

My writing name is CharminglyShallow. I live in England, and have occasional delusions of creative ability. My influences in the area of horror writing I would guess are Stephen King, H.P Lovecraft, R.W. Chambers and Edgar Allen Poe. My nightmares as a child though are directly the fault of Hammer Horror films and as a young teen the works of Romero and Cronenburg. Whilst I find horror in monster stories as much fun as the next guy, when it comes to writing, my terror seems to sit in the 'What Ifs', or even the mundane. Sometimes, as 'The Twilight Zone' and other sources helpfully pointed out, we are our own worst monsters.

I would like to put forward the following stories then:

    • If chosen, you can use as many or as little of the 5 submissions I presented (I'm assuming the pokemon ones would be excluded due to either a "no spinoffs" rule, or copyright issues)

    • My name is Michael. I have seen and heard many things - things that would scare most people. I have taken these experiences and allowed them to inspire me. I have channeled this fear and honed it in order to create what I feel to be some highly readable content. From the days of my youth, disecting horror novels, to today, reading some of the most bone chilling stories the internet has to offer, I have not been able to put down my own pen. My goal is to put my own paranormal experiences into story form, in some way. These frightening instances have made their way into the pages of my many notebooks, and into the nightmares of my readers. This was always my intention. I hope you all enjoy these first hand accounts.

      My submissions -

LOLSKELETONS wrote some stuff and since Cleric fails at quoting here is his reply:

They're nonprofit, really. I set the cost as low as I possibly can so as not to incur a charge per printing.  I'm doing this for the authors so that they can gain some semblance of recognition. Legally, all content hosted here is under a CC-BY-SA license, but I prefer to put out quality content over making yacht-loads of cash. It's about you guys. I don't do anything on this site 'for the money', because if I did we wouldn't be hosted on wikia lol.

      tl;dr cwerik wubs u guize

Can you make sure you clarify this in the OP's from now on, so future authors know what's up? If it's nonprofit, or the profits go toward the wiki's bandwidth costs, I'm sure most authors would be fine with it, as long as you're transparent about it.

    • Hi! My name is Ruckus, whose real name is Charles R.. I write stories, mostly for personal enjoyment and grammar improvement. I like reading creepypastas since a year ago, and until now, I'm heavily addicted to it; it's like a coffee, you can't resist it. Sometimes, I failed at writing properly. My skills are not always there, it's sometimes gone. But still, I can write properly.

Can you please include my pasta?

      Strange Mannequins

EDIT: I just finished this. Please also include this, if ever possible.

    • I'm curious about this too. I'm assuming that either the results will be listed here or that there will be a new thread (hopefully with the link posted here).
