Oh shit! What did I do now? I'll tell you what I did - Nothing. And that's the reason you're reading this, because doing nothing around here became some what of a trend for me about 2 years ago. I kept reminding myself that I needed to come do some edits or answer some blogs or maybe hit up the Writers' Workshop. You know - do something useful to validate my position of trust around here, but like I stated at the top, I was getting really good at doing nothing.

So I lied to myself for a while saying that any day now I'd do just that. That maybe I could find that fervor I had in 2014 when I'd edit nightly, leave feedback on stories, judge contests, win contests, (ya'll thought I wasn't going to say it?) contribute to the community, etc etc.

To all the wonderful folks here who continue to support my journey as a writer!

The great news is that I just published an anthology of my short horror stories over on Amazon! You can check that out here Gris Gris and Juju by K. Banning Kellum.

The bitter-sweet side is that I have to remove those stories contained in the book from the Wiki, which is sad because those stories wouldn't be anything without the great people here who've helped grow and promote me as an artist. So to all wonderful folks, and you know who you are, you have my sincerest thanks for all you'e done for me over the years since I showed up here with a story in my head in need of a place to post it!

    Warmest regards!

    Greeting and salutations!

It's your buddy K. Banning Kellum here just giving a quick rundown on what's been going on. My activity has been at an all time low on this Wiki, and I do feel bad about that. Lately I've been getting pulled every which way but loose between the Convention, writing projects on Spinpasta and other community stuff. However, my duties here still remain, and I realize I've been a fairly absent admin. For that guys and gals, I am sorry and have missed you all.

So I will be around more and try to be as accessible as possible. As always, you can chat me up here on my Talk Page or find me on Twitter @banningk1979. Here's to a great second half of 2018!

What is going good everybody? It's everyone's favorite literary punching bag here, K. Banning Kellum, and I figured it was fine time we posted a proper blog here about the Convention! (Actually Cleric asked me to do this weeks ago... sorry Cleric)

I wanted to wait until we had the best info around to release here, since many of the more common questions we get don't have complete answers as of yet. Without beating around the bush, I'll tell you right here; we don't have a date set right now (we got Summer of 2020 for sure, nothing more specific) and we don't have a venue selected yet. (It's going to be on the Northern East Coast, but that's as specific as we can get.)

So, let's talk about what we do know, shall we?

Well, it's been a while since I've written a stand-alone story that wasn't part of some larger series. This is my first attempt at something with a sci-fi horror twist. I actually labored over this one a lot because I kept catching logical loopholes and such.

Anyway, please check it out and leave me some feed back!
