Creepypasta Wiki

Been ages since I've posted a blog here. Or anything besides the occasional story. Anyways.

Not that this changes that by much, but recently I finished a personal project in Minecraft that I figured some people that visit this site might be interested in. It's just called "house house", and it's a very normal tour of a completely normal house house on my friend's server that I built. It's meant to be a surreal horror piece, not something loaded with cringy jumpscares or "oh mah gerd its herobrine!!". I couldn't really imagine a way to properly "write" a story version of this video, so I decided to share it here, in a blog, instead. I'm very happy with it, and have gotten some nice feedback about the project as well.

There were a number of inspirations for it, which are all linked in the description, but before you ask - no, I have not read House of Leaves, despite owning a copy for over a year now haha. Too many books to get to, not enough time. Currently stuck on King in Yellow.

The biggest inspirations though include Magic: the Gathering's Duskmourn expansion, and the video "My house walk-through" by nana825763. Originally, the plan was (SPOILERS FOR THE VIDEO) to do a series of videos where it started as just a normal Survival Minecraft playthrough, but as time went on, the house would get bigger and bigger without ever showing me build those parts, until one day I'm just cutting trees "outside"... in the house. I shouldn't say too much more, lest I spoil the whole project.

But enough yapping. I'll leave the link here for you to check out, and I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to ask any questions here or in the comments' section itself, I don't mind either of them. Thanks in advance o7

(P.S. for anyone that might be interested, next story I post here - if that ever gets finished - will likely be a sequel to That Starless Place)
