Guys, I have a secret that I've kept for way to long and feel terrible about. It's haunted me for years, I lay awake thinking about it as tears rush to my eyes, as for I can no longer live with what I've done.

We all make mistakes in life. Sometimes, we don't know what we're thinking and we just let our instincts take other, let us commit some atrocity without knowing. Only as time goes by do we realize the error of our ways... The true mistake that has been made... The damage that has been done. I have been looking to confess but... I didn't know how to do it. You guys were the only people who would understand, yet you would be the very people to persecute me for my actions.

Well, here it goes. I was once a naive young writer, looking for ways to impress the world with my stories, every idea that I came up with had to be fully realized. I would stop at nothing to write a masterpiece, and no one would get in my way. I would become the god of Creepypasta!

The truth is...

I̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶l̶e̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶m̶a̶n̶.̶

I wrote Jeff the Killer. That's it. I'm ashamed of my actions. I can't undo what I've done. For it to become one of the most popular Creepypasta characters was a dream come true. The world adored him, if not a bit too much. The rabid fangirls dreamed of marrying him, Deviantart stories were being written about him, the ocs being spawned based off of him were endless... It was an author's dream.

And then I heard how horrible it was. That it was a true example of how not to write a Creepypasta. That everyone was ashamed to have it be one of the most popular stories.

I know, I know, I can never be forgiven for my sins. I will have to live with my mistake, but I don't think I can write for Creepypasta with the truth now revealed. Thank you for your time. Ban me, tear me to pieces, disown me from the family, I deserve it. I have brought true hell to this planet, and as a writer, I have failed. I needed to think before I wrote, and look what happened.

You will not see me anymore. Mark this as my exit from Creepypasta.

(Happy April Fools! Luckily this is allowed.)
