Creepypasta Wiki

UPDATE:

The winners have been announced! See this post for who won!

Hello again! You may recall, during October, we held a contest to rewrite Jeff the Killer. After some slight delays, the top five pastas have been selected by our judges. Due to the massive notoriety of Jeff the Killer, we have decided that the community should have a say in who wins. Therefore, we've set up a poll you can vote on to decide the winning pasta.

Before I start, I'd like to extend a massive thanks to MrDupin, who has really taken the reigns with regards to judging the contest. Without him, I'm certain we wouldn't have been able to make this work. Additionally, thanks to all the other judges: AGrimAuxiliatrix1, Oaura, Rokklaggio and Skepolo.

The Winning Entries[]

So, in alphabetical order, here are the winning entries. Please read all the entries before voting, I can pretty much guarantee you won't regret it, given their high quality.

Congratulations to all the winners! I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who participated, we really appreciate it. You can find a full list of entrants at the original blog.

Voting[]

As I mentioned earlier, we've set up a poll for you to vote for the winner. Please go vote, as we really want to hear who you think should win. Please note that you cannot change your vote after the fact, so please ensure you have picked the pasta you want to win. Voting will close at 00:00 UTC on the 5th of December (we've let it go on for a couple of extra days since the judging took a bit longer than expected).

We've chosen to host the poll offsite, in an attempt to stop this just becoming a popularity contest, which is often an issue with onsite polls. Additionally, it will give us more control, and generally make the whole voting process smoother.

In Closing[]

Thanks to everyone who participated, as well as Banningk1979 for proposing the idea in the first place. If you have any questions, the original blog post can probably answer them. If not, feel free to ask in the comments below. We'll try to answer everything promptly. I've really enjoyed hosting this contest, so thanks for letting me do so. Best of luck to all the winners!
