I just finished reading Mr. Stephen King's collection of short stories called "Just After Sunset." There were a lot of interesting stories in there, but probably my favorite was this one called "The Cat From Hell." It's about this hitman who is hired by a rich old guy to kill a cat who is suspected to be possessed, or just evil.
It has a really unique premise and outcome, and now that I think about it, it's probably one of the best short stories I've ever read.
So this got me thinking: What's the most unique story you've ever read? It doesn't have to be a short story, it can be a novella, a book, even a magazine article. As long as it's fictional.
