I live in a wild and outlaw place. If you've read my novel you know what I'm talking about, and if you enjoy high-grade cannabis you've probably heard of Humboldt County, California. While I fictionalized it in my book and called it Homicide Hill, there is a real Murder Mountain here, filled with crazy folklore and legends.

Well, Joshua Zeeman (you may have seen his other films Cropsey and Killer Legends--they're fantastic, btw), is making a documentary about the outlaw mythos of Southern Humboldt, in particular Murder Mountain and the lore surrounding it.

Thank the horror novel Gods, somehow he heard about me and my novel!!

They called out of the blue the other day, and I just finished up with a two hour interview!!

They came to my house and set up all kinds of lights and cameras and microphones, rearranged all the furniture. It was kinda wild. All really nice guys.

Well, I'm super excited, I think this is going to bring a lot of attention to yours truly and his book. Fucking Netflix? That's huge. Millions of people are probably going to watch this.

Whoa.

Anyway, thought I'd share with you. Fingers crossed I don't look like an idiot!!
