Looking For Advice On a Good Booking Making Program

I was wondering if you can recommend a good book making program?  I'm trying to get things set up to asemble a dummy book in order to send to some publishing company, but there are so many book template software out there….what would you suggest for a pc that uses the latest Microsoft Word? I also use a PhotoSuit4 for an art program and it's sadly lacking in any category for putting a book together.
