Hi, welcome to Creepypasta Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the The Knife Man page.
Please be sure to read all of the Site Rules, as it is important to follow them. Failure to abide by them may result in your account being blocked.
Read some new pastas by checking out the article index or browse by topic by checking out the Genre Listing. You can also read some of the best stories our wiki has to offer by checking out Suggested Reading. Finally, you can check out stories written by authors of the wiki in User Stories.
Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything!
You seem to have published an article that was either a massive wall of text without any sort of paragraphs, an article that was riddled with grammatical and/or spelling errors and clichés, or both!
You're in luck, though. This page exists to help you with your quest to not further anger the Ghost of the English Language, a being that was tragically killed by years of abuse.
This new rule aims to raise the average quality of our pastas. The community has spoken, and they are largely unwilling to either read or edit large amounts of non-proofread text.
This in mind, you must either fix the errors in your page(s) or they will be deleted. This is your first and only warning. Further pages you upload which clearly have never been proofread or spellchecked will be instantly deleted and you will be banned from editing for a number of days that will double for each offending page.
To spellcheck a page, try going to SpellCheck.net or by using a word editor with a built-in spellcheck feature, such as Microsoft Word or WordPerfect.
You must verify that you have properly used spelling, grammar, punctuation, spacing, and capitalization.
- Please read the message above. Uploading another story with that many basic English errors will result in it being treated as a spam page. EmpyrealInvective (talk) 18:48, February 1, 2020 (UTC)
You are now banned for three days for repeatedly posting stories that are well-below our quality standards, riddled with punctuation, capitalization, spelling, formatting, awkward wording, spacing, and plot issues (incredibly rushed plots that feel like they were written all within minutes of each other with no attempt to correct the dozens of errors present in the four to five sentences that were written) to the point that it is apparent that you are spending little to no time proof-reading them.
To put it in context, you posted four stories in the span of four hours that do not have a single sentence in them that doesn't have a basic English level error in them in some way, and most of your stories have at least a dozen errors in them despite being only a few sentences long. I suggest using this time to review our site rules, quality standards, and features of our site (like the writer's workshop) to improve your writing as continuing to post stories with that many errors will result in a lengthier ban.
