Hi, welcome to Creepypasta Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the File:CRAWLERS - Banner.jpg page.
Please be sure to read all of the Site Rules, as it is important to follow them. Failure to abide by them may result in your account being blocked.
Read some new pastas by checking out the article index or browse by topic by checking out the Genre Listing. You can also read some of the best stories our wiki has to offer by checking out Suggested Reading. Finally, you can check out stories written by authors of the wiki in User Stories.
Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything!
We typically prefer titling in accordance with the AP style guide ("Crawlers"), but if the capitalization is meant to be a stylistic choice or is referenced as such by the author (if they're called "CRAWLERS") in the story, we tend to give leeway.
As for the story itself, I removed some coding issues. A bit of helpful advice, when copy/pasting a story onto this wiki, use source mode. If you use visual editor, you get a lot of unnecessary coding that can sometimes obscure the text (by making text the same color as the background or lumping everything together in a wall-of-text). I fixed it up for you, but just pointing it out now to save you some headache later as sometimes it does cause a lot of difficulty.
Please do not create categories. If you make a mistake in typing a category, click the pencil icon to edit or the garbage can icon to delete. There's no need to publish an edit with a non-existent category. See the Genre Listing page for rules about what categories can and cannot be added to pages together or by non-admin, and also for further descriptions of all our existing categories. If you are confused as to how categories on Wikia are supposed to work, please see the help page on categories. The first offense for this is a warning, but the second offense will result in a 1 (one) day block per the category rules.
If you feel your new category should be added to this list, leave a message on ClericofMadness's talk page stating your proposed category and reasons for its inclusion. It must, though, be applicable to at LEAST 10 (ten) existing pages to be considered.
Re: Story Length
There is no length to the word count (I myself have a story that's 100+ pages on this wiki and there's a series that tops 500+ pages if you read each installment). As for dividing a story into chapters, I would encourage you to use the header system to insert chapter breaks. To do that, simply put ==Chapter Title== into the area where you want to indicate a chapter on the article page.
I would discourage you from posting each chapter as separate articles as we recently had to consolidate a user's chapters into one page as their stories ended up being 10+ chapters at a page each and each section was not standalone (i.e. can be read on its own and tells a cohesive story). Posting chapters/fragments of a story will likely result in us deleting them as unfinished pages and advising you to post the complete version. This also helps you in terms of visibility as a lot of users utilize the random button feature and very few will hunt down the starting chapter if they come across a later section. Hope that helps.
