Archived It

I archived it. For some reason it is showing up as a red link from my view, but I checked it out and I didn't mess up, upon clicking on it, it does lead me to the Archive 2 page. So if you see a red link, it's the wiki being silly, your talk page is there and archived.

Yeah, it annoys me when people make mistakes and accuse people of something they didn't do and then don't apologize for it. It's really rude, although the commenter may have commented and moved on, they might not see any reason to ever revisit the story page.

Bleach isn't that good anyway, I used to like it, but I got tired of it when it became clear that the show was stalling, every time a new group is introduced the main protagonist ends up a part of it and with their skill set, and how at the start of every single fight, the villain explains how their Bonkai (power) works which gives the protagonist a chance to come up with a way to beat it. Really bad writing all around from my point of view. I'm not implying anything or talking trash on Naruto or people who like it, it's just always seemed to me that those that like Naruto and/or Bleach enjoy the other series, it's odd. Guess you're the exception though XD Bleach wouldn't have been bad if they hadn't dragged it passed 50 or so episodes, there was no reason for it to be over 300 episodes long (I quit at around 180, but I hadn't been exposed to some of the better anime, at least in my eyes, yet). I hope I don't sound like an elitist snob, if I do then I apologize.

Any series other than Naruto that you've seen and enjoyed? I've got a whole list of potential recommendations and I'm always looking to add some more to my plan to watch list as well. I'll watch anything from Lucky Star to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to Watamote. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 06:26, November 20, 2015 (UTC)

That never happened to me before, so I was freaking out for a minute and was thinking "Oh no, did I mess it up?" XD
Ah, that's good. I was worried that I might be giving off that vibe, a lot of the anime discussion circles are really bad about elitism and snobbish attitudes. I don't judge or belittle people based upon what they watch, though I might try to recommend something that I judge as better. Haha, that's funny XD
Here's my favorite meme: and here's the explanation for it:
For me it was Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. The original run of Grimm's Fairy Tales was four to three years before my time. I don't really remember much from Nick JR other than the thing called Face. I do remember watching a lot of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" though.
Here's a site that you might find handy: It lets you make a list of anime that you have seen and plan to watch, I find it extremely useful myself. It has a list of every Anime ever (to my knowledge). The link I sent you has my list on it. Don't know if it interests you, but I thought I'd bring it up. I'd also recommend staying away from those discussion boards if you do join, the overall community is awful. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 02:08, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

New Tobit Story

Hey there,

It's been a while, but I finally got a new Tobit story finished: Tobit: The Lady and the Maiden of Knowledge. Check it out please and leave me some feedback!

K. Banning Kellum (talk) 02:50, November 23, 2015 (UTC)

Thank you

Yep, I was actually a little hesitant to the Slenderman Stabbing interview thing. I certianly don't speak for the entire CP Wiki community, and wouldn't want my words to be twisted into the voice of the entire genre. But the questions were softball enough so I figured why not?

It's an interesting topic, since it is a common trend to blame the arts and media when people choose to do very crazy or evil things. Anyway, talk to you soon.

K. Banning Kellum (talk) 23:33, November 23, 2015 (UTC)

Thank you

I appreciate the kind words. I also read your reply on there, and I agree with you. It really doesn't seem like a big challenge to be tactful, yet so many people seem to have a hard time with it.

Honestly, I don't think there is anything wrong with harsh critiques, when the person receiving that critique asked for it. It's like Gordon Ramsay. I love that guy, have a ton of respect for him everything he does. Sure, he's a total prick, but people seek him out knowing full well just how he's going to be. And that is fine, because no one can say they weren't expecting it.

Now, it would be different if Gordon Ramsay just walked into kitchens uninvited and started insulting everyone. That wouldn't be acceptable. So, to me, harshness is all in whether or not someone asked for the critique in the first place. Just my thoughts, I still think tact is the way to go. Plus, Gordon Ramsay doesn't just insult for the sake of insulting, he also works his ass off with that person until they improve, and then he comes back and congratulates them on their efforts.

Either way, I think I'll go and watch some Kitchen Nightmares, I got Ramsay fever, LOL.

Thanks so much for the kind message. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Don't let those twerps get your turkey, lol. HumboldtLycanthrope (talk) 16:06, November 25, 2015 (UTC)

Ha! Thanks for that. I especially liked when he said, "We should move there immediately and leave here!" That infrared shot did appear to be some sort of exorcism ; ) Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

A Lot Has Happened Last Week

I really hate what happened last Thursday.  I really think I talk too much about what happened, but I should probably tell you.  It really still shocks me.  Anyways, I was in the car with my caregiver, going to the bank that is inside of Walmart.  We saw a girl standing on the outside of the fence that sits on the bridge that overlooks the freeway.  The girl looked like a Hispanic, teenage girl; I didn't really get a good look at her, but I won't forget what she did.  She was outside of the fence and there were several cop cars on the other ramp, when my caregiver and I saw the girl jump off the bridge.  I don't know if she died, they were no fatalies that day, but traffic was very bad on that day.  I hope you never go through something like that.  I think the girl is in critical condition now.

I am sorry to bother you.  I hope you're doing all right.

I like your unique take on the whole superhero theme, like the characters are all retired and living as normal people instead of being typical battling showoffs. I also like how everyone in your story doesn't resemble an idealized godlike character.

I have two questions for you--is there anyway of zooming the panels closer and what species are they?

We Haven't Talked in A Looooong Time!

Hey there! What's happening? As for me, Snaketounge and Whitex have reviewed my story. They both say that there needs to be more character development.

However, Whit brought up things that I haven't noticed. The first was that the bite sized chapters were slowing down the pace of the story, the actual episode doesn't really tie in to the real life setting, the cape cod house setting was too non threatening, and there needed to be more atmsophere. I sent him/her a message about how I would try and fix these problems.

I'm still confused about the atmosphere part. I've been told by a few other reviewers that the atmosphere was set up nice. I'm not upset but I'm confused as to what I should do.

I can send you the full Whit review of my story so far if you'd like.

Reply to "I don't agree" message

Good news! Whit sent a message clarifying what he meant:

"I mentioned the story lacked a threatening atmosphere. When I think of the setting in most creepypastas, there's a general sense that something is wrong, right? You want a sense of foreboding, that the protagonist is in danger, that the area around them isn't safe. In your story, our protagonist is in a nice home with two older relatives close by, so I don't get a sense of threat at all. If your protagonist was alone, and started speculating whether the shadows were real, or whether her mind was playing tricks on her, that's a bit creepier than her immediately screaming for help and then getting that help. I think she should be isolated, alone watching this video, in a secluded house, where no one can hear her scream..."

So I started working on that. I started tha plot point in chapter 6 where Erika and Hunter are out of the house. He reason why they are out of th house is because they were on a quahogging trip, lost track of time, and got lost in their way home. That willbe revealed later inthe story. Erika disn't want to pay for quahogs whenshe could get them for free.

Sorry my tablet isglitchy when I write in this section.

The Riff: In Colour!

I have started a blog specifically for riffs on Blogger. I was going to use LiveJournal but it doesn't offer Bold or Italics options which is essential for riffing. I write my riffs on a mobile device so I can take it with me back and forth from my mom and dad's house. Here is the Good Luck Charlie Riff... In Colour:

Cyan is for the story part and red is for the parts where I speak. I think those are good colours. It's a real shame that there aren't that many good lost episode pastas on here with the exception of the original Candle Cove, 1999, and (insert other good lost episode pasta here). There are less than 70 lost episode pastas on this wiki alone. How come it's so easy to make a lost episode pasta that is bad? That's a mystery that will never be solved!

RE:Happy New Year

Thanks! Happy New Year to you too! I accidentally missed a day and messed up getting the year badge, I was around the 265 day mark, ah well XD Just thought I'd mention that since you said you were going for it at one time as well. Doing anything fun for New Years? I got Halo 5 installing on my Xbox, but I doubt it'll be ready in time cause of my slow internet, so I'm probably going to celebrate by playing Crusader Kings II or Arcanum (basically just another day for me). Okay, some fake grape juice bottled like wine shall be involved. I've never really cared for the taste of alcohol, but I love having an excuse to get that sparkling grape juice. Reply to "Happy 20 Friggin 16!" Message

Happy friggin new years! YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Another leap year! It feels like 2012 was just yesterday. *sniff* I think Blogger will be a good place for my riffs because it has an option to put different coloured text. Cyan for the story and red for my parts. So the next time I do a riff, it will be written in fast notepad then edited further in Blogspot's text editor.

Anyway, I might go with the plot about Erika and Hunter being missing. With combining the bite sized chapters, that will take some major overhaul and time to do, so I have to figure out which chapters to combine.

Over here where I live, there's less than a half hour before 2015 is over.

Re:Re:New Year

Yeah, it is pretty relieving. I was running out of things to do without pointsgaming and I didn't want to resort to that, so it's probably for the best. Who knows if I'll try it again? I'm not bitter about it. Cows go moo, ducks go quack, PVPer's go multiplayer is unbalanced and life goes on XD

Exactly, all about the enjoyment of it. That's awful! I love the sparkling juice and used to buy myself some for breaks on occasion back when I worked night shift at Walmart. That stuff really helped me through some rough nights, so can't imagine life without it XD

I can understand that, I'm not a fan of medicine either. My neck is out of alignment with my skull (doesn't make sense to me, but that's what the chiropractor said) so I get headaches almost everyday unless I lay down really carefully and I usually cave and take Ibuprofen which I have heard will tear up one's stomach (8 ball says future outlook not so good, but I'll deal with it when the time comes). Nothing bothers me worse than a hurting brain though, I can deal with about anything, but not that.

I'm glad you got to feeling better and had fun. I've never heard of a Steak 'n' Shake before, but I live quite south of your described location and in a very small town, so that would explain it. I sat around and played Rogue Legacy before going over to my friend's house to play a couple of video games with them. Simple is best :D Buckle up I'm going to be popular 02:55, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

I think in most cases genetics do have a lot to do with stuff, my mom has a history of migraines and bad bone placement and my dad has a bad back and neck, so it was inevitable for me. Just have to deal with it a day at a time and hope that most days are pain free. Yeah, that does sound like sinus, I hope you're a fan of spicy food then! I sure am XD
Yeah, I can't really fault them for the side-effects as long as they are within reason though, I mean there's a lot of different chemicals that come into play with medication and then you have a bunch of individuals with different conditions and lifestyles that test it for you. Hopefully significant headway is made toward getting rid of side-effects in the future. Haha, don't let me stop you monologue away XD Lol, that's true. I've pretty much done away with pop and juice in favor of water in the hopes of being healthier, I still have a glass of caffeinated pop every morning so that I don't get a caffeine headache, but other than that it is pretty much just water (unless I eat out or am at my friend's).
That sucks, but you aren't alone as it sounds a lot like my town which is collapsing in on itself due to bad management. There are only two places to get a burger in my town, McDonalds and Sonic, both aren't very good. There are four different places to get pizza, two of which are gas stations, ironically a gas station has the best pizza -not one of the food chains (Pizza Hut)-, three places to get Chinese, and there are four Mexican Restaurants, however, I don't like Mexican food, oh and we have a KFC that has the worst chicken I've ever tasted. My town in a nutshell XD Back when I was in college and living in the dorms I really enjoyed having options such as Arby's or Wendy's (Arby's was so cheap and good). Buckle up I'm going to be popular 07:50, January 5, 2016 (UTC)
Haha, Raidra's a comedian! I had no idea XD Drug commercials are usually the stupidest commercials and I don't know why. One would think that they'd be a little more sensitive of their market (especially ones that have enough problems as is without being demeaned). One thing that is hilarious about drugs is that the off-brands are exactly as effective as the name brands because they are the exact same. They aren't allowed to have different chemicals in their drugs, if they did then the FDA would err... anal seepage. I guess at least the whole drug market is consistently messed up XD
Japan is responsible for giving many great things, but I feel like this might not be one of them. Ah well, I still want to move there one day. I really need to get back to studying Hiragana (Y U have 3 different written languages Japan?!), at least I've made some headway in terms of vocabulary and customs. You know a place is great when they have a massive train system! One can never go wrong with trains :P Japan seriously fascinates me though, so I truly hope to learn the languages and mannerisms so as to not be burdensome should I actually find my way over there. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 19:45, January 6, 2016 (UTC)
First and foremost, Vroom Vroom has also rode a Duck (actually got to steer it, but we were already in the water. I think I was around 8 at the time, I know I was little and I can still vaguely recall it). I was on vacation in Missouri when that went down, likely Branson. As for trains, I've never ridden one either, though I desperately want to!
Thanks, I tend to be very hit and miss (okay, miss). Yeah, that'd be the worst and super embarrassing to boot. I doubt that I'd actually ever move there, but I'd like to. I definitely need to visit at least once. They'd make a whole lot of money off a weaboo like me, especially since the conversion rate of dollars to yen would be in my favor (each USD $1 is worth the equivalent of $1.20 there, if I recall correctly). The train systems there are super efficient, if you miss your train it isn't that big a deal because the next one is set to arrive within five to ten minutes. Depending on one's path, they might have to switch trains and rail lines a ton though. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 05:32, January 7, 2016 (UTC)

Reply to "Leap Year" message

My father's mother had died on February 29, 2012. Speaking of leap year, I heard there was a special club for people who were born on leap day, though I could be wrong.

I don't know if I told you this but I got around to combining the smaller chapters into the bigger ones. Now my story is ten chapters instead of 13.

Heeere's Hailey! Wanna Talk? 04:20, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Did I tell you this?

I don't know if I told you this but I'm working on a pokemon fanfic that is a more adult take on pokemon. This fanfic deals with topics like divorce, religion, the dangers of wild pokemon, etc. I have added a lot of development to both the protagonist and her mother. The protagonist has a father and we do get to see how he interacts with his family before the divorce. He is a gym leader in what is implied to be the Johto region who gets kicked out of his home and moves to "The region where the Nidoran roam." (Possibly the Kanto region). Now the protagonist is dealing with a bad home life and eventually escapes to find her father. That's the basic plot so far. I have the first three character sheets nearly complete if you want to see them.

Reply to "Poke Fanfic" message

Oh no! Just like with my riffs, I will be posting it on a separate website. I'm working on this fanfic while Doom looks at the latest improvements to my pasta. I have the three main characters (Emily, Sarah, and Jason) pretty much done. I may need to add a bit more detail in terms of what they look like in case this gets adapted into a visual medium like a manga for example.

I'm currently writing up sheets for items that will be heavily featured in this fanfic like The Good Book of Arceus, Emily's Journal, Eddy's Neckerchief, etc. I also need to write a plot outline for the first episode of the fanfic. Yes, it will be broken up into episodes to make it easier on myself. The first episode will be the hardest to establish the major information about the characters and whatnot but I'll see what I can do.

Heeere's Hailey! Wanna Talk? 06:47, January 7, 2016 (UTC)

Hehe, yeah. I've seen news sites report Japanese marketing and a few of their English slip-ups, particularly them using curse words without understanding what they mean. Gets me every time! I'm sure that we (the United States) do it too.

That's interesting! I actually don't know much about Samurai, although I believe they followed a code called Bushido. It's possible that I'm mixing them up with another group though, Japan has always been big on honor and virtue. The only thing I'm familiar with in regards to them is their pop culture look. Did you know that Japan's capital used to be Kyoto? Kyoto was their capital for hundreds of years, far longer than Tokyo has been. Some of Japan's cities have roads that are built right on top of water too. They also have some restaurants where food comes around on a conveyor belt and you just grab what you want off of it, others have self help kitchens where you go in and make your own food from their ingredients. It's an interesting place to be sure! Buckle up I'm going to be popular 02:51, January 8, 2016 (UTC)

That's awesome! I had never heard of those before, but now I'm jealous that I've never got to use one *grumble grumble* If I remember right, some school vending machines in Japan allow you to buy food like bread and canned coffee (that just sounds weird to me, I'd try it though). Better than the Bat-Computer, both in function and idea wise XD
Nuuu, that's scary! I wouldn't want that in my room watching me while I sleep. I have an old Darth Vader bank (16 years old, at the least) that moves when you put a coin in it and says "Impressive. Most Impressive, but you are not a Jedi yet!" and then it has the lightsaber glow red (with sound effects) as if to ignite and it raises its saber arm and moves it right to left while Imperial March plays. Huh, wonder if they've made a Kylo Ren (Star Wars 7 bad guy, don't know if you've seen that) bank yet? I'd have to get me one of those just for the sake of having a set XD
On another note: I'm not done with it yet, but I'm working on a contest entry and was wondering if you would help me proofread it after I finished it, please? If you don't feel like it then that is okay, don't feel pressured into it, no big deal (at the rate I am writing, I might not make it in time for the contest anyway. I'll still finish it though, because I haven't finished anything since September).

Asking something of you

Hello, Raidra. Normally, I hate asking things of people. I dislike bothering others without a good reason, but I saw your comment on this blog. Your crayon-based semi-childish art style would fit right in with something I have had in mind for In Torment 4, the story I'm currently working on. I know you don't draw anything perverse, but I have three things in mind. Just one, two, or all three would be highly appreciated, but again, I have no issue with being told no. I've seen your comics before, and simply didn't want to ask, until I saw that you actually offered it. If interested, please respond via talk page message here. Thank you for your time. Re Re: Asking Something of You

Realism is not something that is important at all for me, especially in how I intend to use the drawings. Hell, stick figures would be acceptable, as long as it is at least easy to see whom they portray. What I ask is for drawings of the pantheon seen in the In Torment series. There are three deities, but as I stated, even just doing one would be greatly appreciated.

Enki (The Universes)

Enki is described in two main forms. A rotten, shriveled beast of a humanoid, and a form which is described as "pure light magnificent". The latter is what I request. He is portrayed in a white robe that goes down to his feet, no details given on his face as the bright light does not allow it to be seen, and black smoke around him. A rather angelic description, if that analogy helps give the basic idea.

Dread (Humanity)

Dread is portrayed in a black trench coat, black-clad everything, really, down to the boots and gloves. The thing that sticks out about him is his mask, which is a typical chrome/silver laughing drama mask. His entire body could be a black smudge, and that'd be perfectly fitting, if the trench coat is too much effort. The most important part is the mast.

Mendes (Knowledge)

Mendes is rather self-explanatory. He's obviously modeled after the Goat of Mendes, Baphomet, except his head is that of a deer skull, instead of a goat's head. It's key to remember that Mendes is skeletal, and most of his body is hidden by a black robe, but his head is fully visible.

If you could draw these, any of them for that matter, I'd be grateful.

Re Re: Asking Something of You

Thank you. This works perfectly for what I had in mind. I'll be sure to credit you in the image's post on the story when it releases. Thank you for your time and effort. ShawnHowellsCP (talk) 18:30, January 9, 2016 (UTC)

I've seen those face banks quite often around the internet. However, I haven't seen them in any stores around my area. Maybe they sell them on Amazon or something. I've also got part of my chapter outline for the first of my pokemon episodes if you want to see it.

Talk Page Archiving Needed

So my talk page is getting a little long and I was wondering if you could help me archive my talk page. I'm also working on the appearances of my characters for the pokemon fanfic.

Heeere's Hailey! Wanna Talk? 19:53, January 10, 2016 (UTC)

Thank you very much (Arigato Kosihmus)! I appreciate it! No need to apologize :) You know, I've heard of underwear machines in Japan, but I've never seen any evidence of them in anime or photo's of Japan. Japan has a bit of a reputation for being perverted, but I think it's an inaccurate one for the most part, similar to how America has a stigma for loving and owning firearms. The things they come up with sure are interesting though, there's this one card (forgot the name) you can buy for train travel and you don't even need to take it out of your wallet for the readers to scan it. Furthermore, you can use that card to buy stuff at other places, sort of like a credit card, except it isn't. Convenience stores in Japan also have ATM's and they have lotteries for items (you purchase a ticket and are guaranteed to win something though it might be anything from an anime bobblehead to a lunch box.

I certainly wouldn't sell or trade it for anything, I love it! I had the choice between it and an R2-D2 one, though I don't remember if the R2 one had any functions or not. BB-8 is correct. I became emotionally invested in BB-8 by the end of the film, which is sort of weird for me, I was desperately praying that it wouldn't die. Don't know if Star Wars interests you or not, but The Force Awakens is worth seeing. I went and saw it in theaters twice (never done that for a movie) and it became my favorite over Empire Strikes Back. Facebanks are both awesome and creepy. The awesomeness is how it does look like a realistic face, which is also where the creepiness factor comes from. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 22:34, January 10, 2016 (UTC)

By the way, would you rather I go ahead and send what I have or would you rather I send it to you finished? I've got 9 fully typed out pages in Open Office at the moment and I'll be surprised if it doesn't reach 11 by the end. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 06:34, January 11, 2016 (UTC)
Absolutely, I detest those rip off machines (they're rigged, the claw doesn't have enough PSI to actually hold the items except for a few specific instances which lets them technically meet law requirements. So, one might have enough skill to win, but actually can't due to being set up to fail). Yeah, those toilets are both funny and awesome.
Haha, I love it when shows/videos have funny dead things look down at someone from the sky, like the alligator and Abraham Lincoln in Happy Gilmore. That video sounds neat and artfully then, it takes masterful writing to evoke feels, especially off something that's hideous. It just goes to show that it's what is inside that counts. I'll give your blog a look.
Speaking of emotional pieces, my story is finished and I tried to make it more emotion focused than a horror story. It's big, the equivalent of 25 pages in a novel, so it might be easier for you to copy and paste it to your own pastebin and fix any mistakes you notice as you go and then explain what I need to improve on grammar-wise. That said, if you just want to message me all the errors you spot on my talk page and have me go through and fix them myself, I'm fine with that too XD My entry is due at 23:59 on Thursday, January 14th, so 6 PM Central Time, I believe. Cool! And if something happens that prevents you from being able to get it reviewed in time or if it just sucks and bores you to death, don't worry about it. The worst that happens is I miss out on a small ego boost from entering a contest XD
I'm a bit nervous about this story, I've never written something that occurs over more than two days (this one is nearly a month) or something that is meant to be emotionally grabbing. This is all new territory for me, so if it sucks and is a huge time waster then I'm sorry!
Too bad arcades have died out instead of those claw machines, those were the best way to spend quarters growing up (next to saving them, obviously). Lol, I wish Adam Sandler would make great movies again, the last movie of his that I liked which came out was Click. I love all his classical works like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison and Big Daddy. Thanks again! I have been working on not making comma splices by accident. I hope I'm being successful in that. I'm actually writing something new right now. So I keep going back and looking at what you said about using commas after quotes. Hopefully that eventually sticks, but I'm pretty sure that I am doing it right, now.

Half right and half wrong plus mentions of an attorney, Two-Face confirmed (for what, I do not know). Haha, everyone is taking bullets to the head and ending up alive XD

That's actually an interesting ability. It sounds really original and I am happy for that. Guilt can be a very powerful thing! Comic books have too many knock off characters and abilities which really stinks. So I am glad to see you innovating :D Speaking of comics, did you know that they are animating 'The Killing Joke' and they got Mark Hamill to reprise the role of the Joker? Fingers crossed that they get Kevin Conroy to voice Batman again!

I also just realized that you are a comic (comedian) which makes comics. That's a pun if I have ever heard one XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 21:19, January 13, 2016 (UTC)

Them pesky two-headed coins :P Yeah! Super strength is the lamest, because it is so overdone. Although seemingly useless, being able to turn into ashes would be extremely useful if the user could turn back to their original form. Just imagine them getting caught in some sort of death trap where the walls are going to mash together and there's no discernible way out while they do so; ashes. I do agree. Personality is more important than the superpowers in my eyes. The issues that the character's face and how they deal with them is what will keep readers coming back, not their superpowers.
Me too. I love Batman: The Animated Series (I actually re-watched it in 2014 and it still held up really well). Gotham Knight is an animated movie that is set between the films: Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. You're thinking of The New Adventures of Batman and Robin, but Gotham Knights would have been a better name. It's funny, I used to like TNABR style better, but as I got older I came to dislike it. I agree, Scarecrow came out looking a lot better. I think Mr. Freeze might have as well, but I'm not sure. The reason they changed up the art style was because it would be cheaper to animate.
Haha. I can imagine it now! A completely clumsy and clueless assortment of heroes that have gathered to battle the forces of evil. They aren't what the world needs or deserves, but they are the only ones available. I can imagine them foiling a villain's plot only for one of them to trip and clumsily land on a button that activates the villain's doomsday weapon XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 07:24, January 14, 2016 (UTC)
Does his heat invulnerability work all the time or only when he is in ash form? Either way, he sounds like he'd be hard to kill. You must really have this all planned out XD I really need to read more of your hero pasta. The one about Pathos was the only one that I've read so far. The legend of the Rainbow Crow is pretty cool! Poor thing sacrificed a large part of itself for the advancement of mankind. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 20:51, January 14, 2016 (UTC)
Alright, I got you. That sounds like an interesting book. I've always liked mythology, but unfortunately I only have one book about it which is: 'The Hero with a Thousand Faces' by Joseph Campbell.
I'm sure I will :) I have to finish reading and giving feedback on Hailey's Creepypasta before I start reading anything else though.
I like talking about why I make certain decisions and giving certain views on stories that I have created. I always hope that I don't come across as an idiot and/or misremember something in the future thus contradicting my own word and accidentally lying XD I actually can't remember why Tomoko has that look on her face. Two things come to mind that it could have been. Either it was when she was at a coffee house and accidentally dropped her coffee cup onto the floor or it was when she was reading scary stories on the internet at 2AM and ended up having to pee, but was too afraid to go to the bathroom (she gets into a lot of distressing situations). Buckle up I'm going to be popular 17:45, January 15, 2016 (UTC)
I've finished giving all the suggestions that I can think of at the moment, so I'll try to read one of your pastas today or tomorrow. I sometimes get flighty and have troubles concentrating on reading things, so it could take me a bit longer. One of these days we'll have to! I'll skip over Kumiho for now then.
She cheated and got her younger brother to walk her to the bathroom, then had him wait outside the bathroom when she went, and THEN had him wait while she showered because she didn't quite make it in time. She's a bit of a goofball to say the least, but a relatible one XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 06:21, January 16, 2016 (UTC)
He was! He was actually adopted to the comics before Harley Quinn was, but he isn't used much at all. As far as I know, he hasn't been used in over ten years. What a bummer. Batman knows that if he ever crosses the line and kills, that he might turn serial killer and become an unstoppable threat. That's what he fears the most, I think; why he won't ever kill the Joker. If he does, then it all becomes arbitrary for him on whether or not to bring in the criminals. Oh, I always liked Scarface and the Ventriloquist, such a unique set of villains. I remember one episode where Scarface got knocked into something like a woodchipper and the Ventriloquist was freaking out. I felt sooo bad for him even though Scarface was such a negative influence.
I vaguely remember him and Clock King. I thought both of their arcs were interesting even though they were pretty much nobodies. Both were memorable to a degree. The Animated Series Batmobile is easily the best Batmobile. It has the greatest design and did so many awesome things XD
I'm glad you mentioned the Condiment King, because when I was reading about the Sewer King being a one-shot villain I was totally going to bring him up XD He was the goofiest villain and one of the best gags in Batman history. Yeah, that's neat now. Ed Asner playing Dagget was one of those big things for me when I was older :D
As far as I am concerned, that's the best non-animated Batman film. It had the humor, an intelligent Bruce Wayne and a funny, unpredictable and psychotic Joker. I wasn't big on the Joker having killed his parents either, but I can understand it, since they didn't know if the movie would do well and so as to close that plot thread. Batman was a very self-contained movie that didn't leave anything to sequels, which also made it really good in my eyes.
D: Yeah, comics are pretty lazy. The retcons are so lazy and anger me because it cheapens everything. I don't read the comics either, but I do like to keep up to date on them. Do you mind if I spoil what is currently going on between Bruce and the Joker?
Awesome! Thank you :D I looked for relevant Mr.Freeze puns, but came up empty :( No comebacks to your Joker quote other than talk to you later! Buckle up I'm going to be popular 19:39, January 26, 2016 (UTC)

I think I finished!

So I don't know if I showed you the episode outline but here's the finished version:

I'm also trying to get back to reviewing R.L Stine's The Haunting Hour episodes. I haven't made one since December so I feel kind of bad.

Well what I just showed you is a chapter outline so I'm probably going to fix those issues when I have to put the episode into an unsummarized format. Speaking of that, I'm trying to figure out if I should go with first or third person perspective for this fanfic. I might lean towards third person since the second episode will start with the person delivering the medicine to Emily's house.

I might start the story like this: "The room was dimly lit and cluttered with all sorts of plush creatures taking up space on the shelves, toy chests, and even on a little wooden computer desk leaning up against the center right wall. To some, this may seem like the room of the happiest child in the world. Unfortunatley, the owner of all these toys was kneeling down on her bed and sobbing quietly to herself. At that very moment, a flood of memories were racing through her mind, each growing more somber than the last. In these memories, we see a young girl, a grown woman, and a mucslebound man getting along and enjoying each other's company. As the memories raced by, the grown woman gradually faded into the background until in one memory, the grown woman and musclebound man started to argue. In fact, a few memories after had reselmbled this one. Eventually, a memory of the grown woman defeating the musclebound man in 2 out of 3 sanctioned battles had came into fruition as well as a memory of the musclebound man packing up his things and whispering to the young girl 'If you need me, I'll be in the region where the Nidoran roam'."

I think I'll start with this for now and try to make some changes when they come to mind. I think this might also be a good way to present the memories in a text based format.

That's good to hear. I've been expanding on that paragraph I sent you. I added a few more details about the memories and certain parts of the room as well.

"Pokemon Garnet: The Story of Emily Episode 1

The room was dimly lit and cluttered with all sorts of plush creatures taking up space on the shelves, toy chests, and even on a little wooden computer desk leaning up against the center right wall. To some, this may seem like the room of the happiest child in the world. Unfortunatley, the owner of all these toys was kneeling down on her bed and sobbing quietly to herself. At that very moment, a flood of memories were racing through her mind. In these memories, there was a young girl, a grown woman, and a mucslebound man getting along and enjoying each other's company, especially in the ones where the musclebound man and grown woman were teaching the young girl various things about the Pokemon world. There were also memories of the young girl and grown woman cheering on the musclebound man as he battled various people in a huge arena covered in red, teal, and light brown colouring.

As the memories raced by, the grown woman gradually faded into the background until in one memory, the grown woman and musclebound man started to argue. In fact, a few memories after had reselmbled this one. Eventually, a memory of the grown woman defeating the musclebound man in 2 out of 3 sanctioned battles had came into fruition as well as a memory of the musclebound man packing up his things and whispering to the young girl "If you need me, I'll be in the region where the Nidoran roam". Just then, another rush of memories flew through her mind but these seemed to go by faster than the others. These memories consisted of the grown woman whacking the young girl in the face so hard that she was knocked to the ground. However, these memories were followed up with memories of the grown woman crying and giving the young girl various plushies.

As she remembered these moments, she became furious and threw her pillow across the room as hard as she could. She then started to sob again and grabbed her Cyndaquil plushie from the left side of her bed and hugged it tightly. Because the plush felt as though she was holding a cloud, she started to calm down a bit. She proceeded to straighten her back, fold her hands together, and look up at the dark blue ceiling.

"Arceus" the girl said, "Please help me find a way to start Pokemon training early. I just can't deal with this anymor---" Just as the girl was about to finish her prayer, a woman had entered her room and quickly flipped on the lights. "Emily, is everything okay in here?" The woman asked with a shaky voice."

This is still being expanded upon as we speak. I'm still considering making a website just for the fanfic through Weebly or some other free website creator. If that fails, I'll create a separate blog for it.

Heeere's Hailey! Wanna Talk? 17:18, January 18, 2016 (UTC)

Reply to "Website" message

Oh so that's where it came from? Huh... Who'd a thunk it? So for my fanfic, I'm trying to use Weebly to create a site exclusively for it much like Dorkpool did for his riffs but on mobile, the site creator is nearly impossible to use. On and off freezing when you try and pick a theme for the site, glithes like crazy when trying to customize the site, and I feel like it does whatever it wants when you try to tap something. They have a mobile app but it's not much better. Maybe it works a lot better when you use a computer but Weebly seems like my only option that isn't too complex or costly. I think the blog option might be the best option for what I want to do.

So I expanded upon the first episode even more. Here: "

The woman asked with a shaky voice. Emily yelped loudly and quickly crawled under her bed. "Please don't hurt me mom!" Shouted Emily. Her mother sighed heavily and said "I promise I won't hurt you, okay."

"Are you sure this time?" Asked Emily. Her mother had said yes and also told her that she wouldn't leave until Emily came out from under the bed. After a few moments, Emily slowly crawled out and inched her way towards her mother. Emily's mother gave her a big hug and rubbed her back gently. "The whole separation thing is getting to you too, huh?" Emily's mother asked. Emily nodded slowly and whimpered a bit."

No problem, I try to keep an eye on every edit made to prevent this sort of thing from happening. As for Eureka Genius, it may be possible they didn't actually see the edit and was just congratulating the user based on the automated message without actually reading the edit. (Who knows?) EmpyrealInvective (talk) 16:15, January 19, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the correction, I took a quick look when I first got your message for clarification and noticed I also undid Eureka's edit as well and just misattributed it. The places category is more for stories that focus on a character investigating a specific place (Sedlec Ossuary for example, a metal album cover waiting to happen), this category tends to be abused and tagged in any story since they all technically involve a 'place' of some sort (It's sort of like the issue we had with the category "Death" and "People"). We do our best to monitor edits, but some slip through every now and then so let us know if it occurs again or you spot it somewhere else. EmpyrealInvective (talk) 00:16, January 20, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Anime List

Of those I've seen: All of Pokemon (the original, which ended when Misty left), all of Hellsing: Ultimate, all of Gundam Wing and Mobile Suit Gundam, all of Kill la Kill, most of Yu-Gi-Oh, half of Bleach, some of One Piece and Dragon Ball Z. I couldn't get into Digimon or Inuyasha. I remember Bobo-bo-bobobo and Zach Bell from Toonami, never watched them though.

I recommend Watamote, Clannad and Clannad: After Story (of course I'd recommend the ones I own on Blu-Ray. Okay, I don't own After Story yet, but Clannad itself set me back $90, not quite ready to shell out $90 more).

If there was multiple Gundam pilots and Gundams then it was Wing. If there was one Gundam pilot and a single Gundam then it was Mobile Suit Gundam. Don't know if that'll help you out though, probably been a long time since you watched whichever Gundam. I'd say that it was likely Wing, since it was the first Gundam that aired in America, though Mobile Suit Gundam also aired, but got cancelled after 9/11 happened because New York appeared in it and was and abandoned wasteland.

Okay! I'm looking forward to it! Buckle up I'm going to be popular 13:42, January 21, 2016 (UTC)

Yes! One thing I really liked about the series was the fact that not only was Batman smart, but he acted smart when he was Bruce Wayne as well, which earned him lots of respect. He also tried to help the villains by giving some of them jobs, such as 'The Ventriloquist', for his company.

"You killed Captain Clown... You KILLED Captain Clown!"

I remember that line so well. I also remember laughing really hard when Alfred drew Bruce a bath. I thought that episode was really good and didn't have any issues with it, though honestly, I loved all the Joker episodes. Mark Hamill just did such an amazing job!

"Nothing to Fear" is a bit hazy in my memory, but I think that's the one where Batman gets gassed and starts hallucinating wires as snakes and then he grabs them anyways, because he's Batman! The snake wires always bothered me as a kid due to my fear and hatred of snakes.

"Almost Got 'Im" is my favorite. It had the Penguin, Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman and I think a couple of other villains talking about how they almost beat Batman. At some point, I think after Two-Face finishes his story, the Joker makes a comment that sets Two-Face off and Two-Face says, "Say that to my face, clown!" The Joker simply responds with a smile, "Which one?" That was the definitive best moment in the series for me. XD

"The Laughing Fish" was also great! I liked how the Joker came up with the goofy and insane plan to expose all the fish to toxin that would make them smile, so that he could own a copyright on all the fish, thus profiting every time a fish was sold. Of course, it didn't work. Still funny and outside the box as one can get though!

"The Man Who Killed Batman" was another favorite of mine. I just liked the degree of grief that the Joker showed when he learned that Batman was dead. He even went as far as to throw a funeral for Batman and to try to kill the man who killed Batman. The Joker gets it; Batman's no fun without Batman XD

The Mister Freeze episodes were good too. A very good and tragic love story which turned a previously corny character into a remarkable one.

Insomnia, huh? That's really rough :( Buckle up I'm going to be popular 02:03, January 22, 2016 (UTC)

That's good. The only problem I really have in terms of sleeping is getting my mind to shut up, which usually takes 1 to 2 hours. I have moments where I am thinking, "Stop thinking mind. Just shut up and stop thinking, I want to sleep!" I tend to get rather annoyed when I lay down to sleep because then I start to get a strong urge to write, play video games or internet and its far stronger than my will to do so during the day (this might actually be because I used to work night shift and slept during the day for over a year and a half).
Have you watched or read "The Dark Knight Returns"? Batman comes out of retirement when he's in his late 50's and faces off against Two-Face for the last time (the same can later be said about the Joker in regards to Batman in Part 2). Two-Face is easily defeated because he's really old and out of shape. Batman removes the bandages from Two-Face's face while he scream about how he is a monster and doesn't want to be look at and we see that his face is completely normal. There's then a flashback to where his face got skin-grafted and it was paid for by none other than Bruce Wayne in an effort to put an end to Two-Face, however the damage was way too psychological for that to fix. It was a really good plot twist and a touching moment. Even after all those years, Bruce hadn't given up on his old friend, Harvey Dent.
I remember that. The lightening strike was super effective XD Ah, poo. I still remember "Almost Got 'Im" pretty well. My mind probably transplanted that scene to it because it's been so long and because "The Secret of Bruce Wayne" hinged on a really interesting, but ridiculous plot (you really expect me to think they wouldn't look into Bruce being Batman. Also, it would have made more since for Dick to dress as Batman rather than Bruce Wayne, lol).
Speaking of great Joker moments, I liked the one (I think had a blimp in it) where the Joker was actually going to leave Harley and Batman ends up convincing her of it causing her to turn on the Joker out of anger. That really got me lolling.
Aw, geez. I got another one wrong? It's been too long and too many shows later for my poor aging brain (darn you for looming a month away, 24 years old!). That's why I like Batman the best out of all the heroes. He will endure any amount or sort of pain/torment to save Gotham. I never seen any of the other heroes go through as much as Batman has and he's just a mere mortal.
No pressure, lol. Okay, well, I'm going to read through the episodes on that site and get back to you about it, since my memory is blending episodes together. Heck, I might even watch a few (I need to do that again, anyway) :D Buckle up I'm going to be popular 04:08, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

Yo, I saw your comments on Vroomie's page about dem animes. Thought I'd just butt into this conversation. Just wondering, have you watched Death Note, Higurashi, Umineko or Attack on Titan? Those are my favourites.

I can vouch for Death Note, but haven't seen the others listed yet (however, Higurashi is really good from what I hear). Buckle up I'm going to be popular 05:44, January 24, 2016 (UTC)
Yhh, one gets very attached to the characters in Death Note. Each character is so unique and the plot is clever. Higurashi and Umineko are by the same author and are pretty creepy. As for snk I presume season 2 anime is coming out in 2016. Have you watched the OVAs? Rinskuro13 (talk) 09:03, January 24, 2016 (UTC)

Re: More Batman

One or two? You must go to bed early! I used to go to bed at 2:30 or 3, but now I'm down to 1:30 to 2 XD That's good! I've had a few moments to where I couldn't sleep and would write or video game.

TDKR is sort of an odd departure, in that Batman is even more violent and brutal, but it has some really great moments that tie off things well.

Oh, I remember he "walking" her hyena's! That was one of the better episodes because it showed how out of touch she had become. It also showed us how a lot of her crimes aren't actually done with ill intent, but rather because she really is crazy.

"Beware the Gray Ghost" was a good one. I enjoyed how Batman was inspired by a tv series crime-fighter and that crime-fighter was voiced by none other than Adam West, the first actor to play Batman on television. It was also really cool when Batman brought him to the Batcave and showed him how much of a fan he was.

"Trial" was hilarious. I loved how Batman got kidnapped and put on trial by his rogues gallery for creating them, but then the girl who defends him ends up convincing each of the villains that they were actually responsible for their own creation and Batman's.

"Lock-Up" was an episode that stuck with me. They created an original villain that was awesome. It was neat that they had a prison guard who abused all the inmates at Arkham into behaving and to being afraid of him. Heck, Scarecrow was so afraid of him that he broke out just to get away from him XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 05:44, January 24, 2016 (UTC)

Okay :) I'll give it a read soon, but not tonight (got a headache and therefore am having trouble focusing on things). I never left comments because I didn't have anything really worth adding, but I read the first two "Houseguest" stories last week. I liked them and like that the leader is a lizard man XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 05:42, January 25, 2016 (UTC)
I'm really glad that Harley became so popular that she made it into the comics and video games. Although, it is a shame to see her done wrong from time to time. I completely remember her saying that about vomiting on his cape now XD
I feel like the episode was written with Adam West in mind. The role just fit him so well (although he's good in everything). I didn't get the joke when I was younger, but when I rewatched it a couple of years back I went, "Tha-That's Adam West!"
I don't like Mad Hatter, but I found him good in the cartoons for the most part. He just feels so out of place to me in the Batman lore, kind of like Tweedle Dee and Dum. Speaking of the Joker, I have a confession. Heath Ledger's Joker, while good, didn't feel like the Joker to me and is my least favorite live action performance of him so far. He just lacked the funny element (other than the scene with making the pencil disappear). Say, do you keep up with the Batman comics? There's some pretty interesting developments with the Joker in those!
Sweet! I'll try to look over some more episodes so that we have more to talk about (hint: I remember Hardack somewhat and enjoyed those episodes).
My headache is better, but still sore. It doesn't hurt behind my eye anymore, so that's good. That always makes it hard for me to concentrate on reading things. Anytime! I'm just afraid I'll make a bad edit by accident. Ha ha! Bat Hulk XD Sounds like it could beat Man Bat to a pulp in a fist fight!
That's actually the line I was referring to in particular; it caused me to laugh. MacGuffin Industries was another clever and comedic bit that stuck out at me XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 02:25, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
On another note, I just finished a pasta, Crossing the Line, and have put it up on the Writer's Workshop. It's nowhere near as long as the last one, I promise XD If you have the time, would you please read through it and give me feedback? You can find it here: If not, it is no big deal! Buckle up I'm going to be popular 07:44, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
Aw, I hope it goes away soon. Headaches are the worst. Thank you, I saw :) That is hilarious. Alright, well get better. I'll look over some more Batman things to talk about. Thanks again! Buckle up I'm going to be popular 00:56, January 27, 2016 (UTC)
That's good! Well, scroll down and look at the pictures if you wish to find out: The scene is super interesting and a really good one; haunting.
Yep! The Joker simply cannot exist without Batman. There was one really old comic where the Joker thought that Batman had died and he took off his make-up, dyed his hair normal, bought a house and became the best neighbor of all time. Of course, when he found out that Batman lived... The next time I reply, I should be be ready to talk about Hardac. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 20:35, January 28, 2016 (UTC)

When the story is completely finished, I will put it into a word program like Google Docs or Word. There, I can add it in italics and all of the other fancy schmancy touch ups. When writing stories, I usually use an app on my tablet called "Fast Notepad", which is a basic word program without options for italics. I use it because I have better clairty over the text and when I need to edit something, it has a much faster response time, though that could just be from my own tablet and not the word programs themselves.

I'm working on a part for the next Pokemon Garnet episode where Emily gets bit by a Houndour and has a nightmare about turning into one. I'm not sure if you saw it but in case you didn't, here's the pastebin link:

So I looked at The Haunting Hour spelling mistakes and I'm in the process of correcting them. They've been very helpful to me and really help me understand grammer a lot more. I like the format in which you present the corrections in. First you show the original then the corrected version. Keep using that format.

Speaking of The Haunting Hour, I've uploaded a new review as part of a marathon of me reviewing all 76 episodes of The Haunting Hour. Here's the link to it if you wanna read it:

I know, I've been giving you a lot of things to read lately but I really like sharing my writings with other people so I apologize. I'm trying to also keep my writing skills sharp by constantly writing things.

I just finished reviewing episode 28. So 76 total episodes minus 28 episodes reviewed thus far equals 48 epsiodes I have yet to review. I have about 3 more seasons to go before I finish the marathon. I might try to upload them more regularly but that's not set in stone yet.

Even More Batman

I'm not that big on Gordon being behind the cowl now. I think it'll make their dynamic really weird and Batman is going to come off as a jerk if he doesn't invite Gordon to the Bat Family now (not to mention Gordon somehow de-aged and is sporting a mohawk).

Oh, the episode with the Batman copy that was left over from HARDAC trying to replace everyone important with robots, that was amazing! It was so convinced that it was Batman that it acted like him and then it thought it killed the real Batman, became appalled and sacrificed itself to stop HARDAC from coming back. In the end, it was worthy of its self-proclaimed mantle of Batman and caused Bruce to ponder about it having had a soul after all. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 01:14, January 29, 2016 (UTC)

I do think it is interesting that Bat-Gordon is Government funded though. Gotham's way of saying it needs Batman and will always need Batman (even though they'd try to arrest him at the start of his career, lol). Sure, but on the other hand, people who have to constantly reboot all their series probably don't have much for an imagination.
Ha. I don't remember that, but could the gas have been formulated for robots? I think there are a couple of gases out their that can cause metals to rust and circuitry to cease functioning, maybe that's what Alfred used (Alfred's a smart man, of course I'm going to try to come up with some excuse that won't make him do something stupid XD)?
Speaking of episodes which have villains created for the show who are awesome... there was that one where Batman had to fight a ninja that he had trained with as Bruce Wayne and I think that the two ended up fighting on a volcano. That was really sweet (I actually disliked the episode when I was younger because I found him to be a generic ninja and not someone like Two-Face or Joker, but I gained a real appreciation for it at an older age)! I'll look up the name of it tomorrow, though I think it was a two-parter. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 07:12, January 30, 2016 (UTC)
Ha! Never heard of that. Terry is the only one who should ever take up the Batman mantle other than Bruce, in my opinion. I really wish that we'd get a live-action Batman Beyond film.
Smokescreen would be a really odd choice in my books because wouldn't the robot likely be able to detect heat signatures and thus detect Alfred through it (or would the smoke mess that up)? I don't think smoke would instantly knock a person out, but I guess Alfred could have used a nerve agent gas to cause a smokescreen and the it just went entirely wrong for him. Dunno, you're right. It is pretty stupid. That's cool!
Haha, that's facepalm worthy right there. The writers of the show were really good at including subtle references and tie-ins. It's really awesome because it makes rewatching episodes when you are older like digging for treasure in a way. "Oh, I found that reference you're making." Buckle up I'm going to be popular 03:55, January 31, 2016 (UTC)
I saw :) It's just that I saw your story on the WW first, but went to bed before reading it and I decided to read that before replying (that way I had time to think up a better response).
I like Batman Beyond and respect what they attempted to do, even if its Rogues Gallery pales in comparison to Batman's. I completely understand you not being big into it though. Completely different setting, character and theme for the most part. I think the reason I like it so much is because it was new and a bold direction on the writers' part. I actually wasn't big on the "Bruce is actually your father because of government science nonsense". I did think them tying Phantasm into it was really cool though!
Yep, I was referring to the gas as cool :D Yeah, that's a perfect analogy for the Alfred situation. I bet he was, but he's just really good at holding his emotions in and thus refused to give Alfred the satisfaction. There was one comic, 'The Killing Joke' I think, where the Joker told Batman a joke and the two of them shared a laugh. So, he does find things funny, but he just prefers to hold things in. I've always liked how he manages to not, outwardly at least, freak out when villains infiltrated the Batcave. That would have been a very code-red/Game Over type reaction for me. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 05:05, February 2, 2016 (UTC)
Okay, I hope you get to feeling better really soon. Ha! Someone should make a creepypasta out of that; 'The Killer Bee in the Backseat' ( I beat he has a ton of motivational posters littering the Bat Cave. By the way, my avatar is Ruby Rose from RWBY. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 02:31, February 3, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, the great stories start to feel not so special when others start cloning them. I remember that episode! I also liked the episode where Freeze saved Terry (I think he died doing so). That sounds like a good website! Heh, that's funny. "Igor, you're fire... no wait, your head shall serve as the replacement!" Buckle up I'm going to be popular 23:57, February 4, 2016 (UTC)
Oh, have you seen 'Son of Batman' or 'Batman Vs Robin'? Those are both fairly good animated movies that are based off the comics. They just came out with a third one called 'Batman: Bad Blood'. I'm planning on watching 'Bad Blood' tomorrow. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 01:20, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
Odd is good, because it means unique which in turn means new ideas have been brought to the table. Seems like a demotion to me, but I suppose being super strong could be seen as a promotion to some, no matter the cost XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 01:24, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
There's sort of a reason that the commercial doesn't say what it is about. I heard that the plot is fairly weak, but it does do something that I approve of (I haven't seen it as planned. I ended up writing instead of watching it).
Uncle Grandpa is certainly not my type of thing. Although, I haven't really liked anything that Cartoon Network has had to offer since they ended Kids Next Door and Teen Titans. I misread that as you saying that your aunt was the Yorkie, at first XD The Yorkie is sooo cute :D My Aunt had Yorkies and they were fun to play with, I actually watched them a few times. I have a Labrador myself. I love dogs so much! Penguins are admittedly my favorite animal though. I have to ask: what's the story with the swords (or are those stickers/paint)? Buckle up I'm going to be popular 22:19, February 5, 2016 (UTC)
I watched it yesterday and it was just okay. Some of the things deviated too much from the comic books and in this case the comic books were more interesting in the story that they told. Lol, I actually saw that show on the air a few months back. It seemed really silly. Yeah, I don't think that there exists a creature more loving than a dog (except for maybe horses). Ah, that's really neat. I thought they were some sort of stickers that you bought at the store and stuck to the ground. They look really good in that stage. Brady is a weapons expert confirmed. In your last message, there was no signature. What happened? Did the Hungry Hungry Hippos get to it? Was it stolen by David Bowie on his way back to his home planet? Tune into (insert show name here) to find out!

You know what I would like to see? More Creepypastas about the dentist from a young child's perspective. Most of the dentist pastas focus on a more grown up perspective. I have a mild fear of the dentist myself. I'm not very fond of the poking and  prodding and having tools in my mouth. Sometimes, the chair will be too low and when they put liquids in my mouth, I gag a bit.

I also have a moderate fear of heights, especially when it comes to taking a picture in a high area like a waterfall or something. I'm afraid my phone will fall in and either get water damaged or eaten by an animal if I'm at the zoo. That's why I hold onto to it very tightly in those areas. Speaking of the zoo, I sometimes have dreams of falling into habitats with water in them. You know, habitats with seals, polar bears, hippos, or even elephants.

Pop Up Book of Horrors! Now complete with more jumpscares than a modern horror movie! I've been looking around for a good place to buy but my internet is acting up tonight so I haven't gotten very far. From what I understand, a good copy costs nearly 30 or 50 bucks for a decent copy on Amazon. I'll try looking at other sites for a better price. Usually, Amazon is my go to place for online shopping.

I've been starting on a dentist story for a possible entry in the Silver Creek anthology series. Here:

Dental Dilemma

It was a cold February morning as the wind was practically nipping at all the uncovered parts of my short and stubby body. In fact, it was so cold, that I think you could've hung raw meat outside and it wouldn't have gone bad. Anyway, my father had dragged me to the local dentist's office to have a couple of my teeth taken out to reduce the amount of crowding inside my tiny mouth. At first, I honestly didn't know what to think of the situation. On the one hand, I was getting a day off from school to go out into the real world. On the other hand, just thinking about having people putting various tools and icky pastes in my mouth made me cringe and left me with an upset stomach.

I'm still trying to work on the child like perspective. I'm going for around age 5 or 8. I'll try and research more on the perspective if I can. Unless you already started on something similar.

I just had a really awful nightmare and I woke up not that long ago. It's 6:30am over here as I'm writing this. If you want to know what the nightmare is about, here's a two sentences horror story that sums up what you need to know:

"One day, I was cleaning out a dead guy's house. When I got down to the basement, I saw him hanging around."

I'll try and go back to sleep after I write this.

Actually, I did but I've ran into a few issues. One, I don't know how to upload and get a downloadable video and turn it into something edible. Two, it would be a bit too small to bring home. Three, I have no idea how the upload process works up north. I also have no clue that they admit that they release people early sometimes.

I would like to learn a bit more about the whole releasing part and how to submit micropastas on this wiki.

For Micropastas, do I have to submit it through writer's workshop first or can I just upload it without any other steps to follow? I meant to ask that but I wrote my previous message in the wee hours of the morning so I guess I forgot.

I'm also having a case of writer's block with my R.L Stine pasta. After the protagonist breaks the phone, what should happen next? On the other hand, the Pokémon fanfic is coming along nicely but that's only because I have an outline for it.

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling so hot. I wish you a speedy recovery! Speaking of not feeling well, today I went rollerskating with my homeschooling group and I fell on the floor at least three times so I'm a bit sore. I haven't skated in awhile so that maybe one of the reasons why I fell so much aside from the floor being really slippery. I'm getting better at skating though.

The Pokémon fanfic is coming along nicely. I'm up to the part where Emily's mother is in a battle with Albert to see if he will get the teaching assistant job.

Reply to "Angry Phone Breaking" message

I feel even more sore today than I did yesterday, which is pretty odd if you ask me. So I tried to upload my micropasta on the site without using writer's workshop and it got taken down faster than you can say "Gotta Go Fast!". Here's what Empy had to say about it:

"The big issue is that a story like that would be better fleshed out to more than a sentence or two. Especially since it raises more questions than answers. Why is the protagonist cleaning up a dead guy's house? Why hasn't the body been removed? Etc. Usually flash fiction works when the story is self-contained and told in a manner that effectively conveys the story without needing a lot of explanation. As it's currently told, it feels more like there's a joke/punchline feel to it. "I was cleaning this dead guy's house. His corpse was hanging out (pun) in the basement."

The more I think about it, the more of what he says makes sense. Speaking of pastas, I started chapter 11.

"Chapter 11

After I threw the phone, I began panting slowly and heavily. A few moments later, a sudden jolt had rapidly travelled across my body and at the same time, I had gasped. I ran over to where the phone had landed and I looked over the shattered unit."

I think it's a good start. I'm trying to think of what she'll say if I decide to make her say something as she's looking at the smashed phone.

Well to quote Malcolm in The Middle, "An experience isn't totally worthless if you learn something from it." I think I definitely learned something from it.

I had an idea for a reaction to breaking the phone in my R.L Stine pasta. The protagonist hastily picks up the scratenal, puts it on the counters, gets a sticky note and writes "Made in China" on it and runs upstairs. But that might kill the disturbing mood so instead I'm going to have the protagonist quickly look for a dustpan and brush to clean up the mess and head upstairs.

I've never heard of that Japanese legend before. I'm trying to imagine the phone as one of those landline phones with a cord or a smart phone as it supposedly gave information on the weather.

So I've been doing some more work on the R.L Stine pasta and here is chapter 11 so far:

"Chapter 11

After I threw the phone, I began panting slowly and heavily. A few moments later, a sudden jolt had rapidly travelled across my body and at the same time, I had gasped. I ran over to where the phone had landed and I looked over the shattered unit. I noticed that one half of the phone went under the cyan recliner near the couch and the other half was in front of the light brown TV cabinet. I picked up the pieces as quickly as possible, fearing that the shadow figure would show up again, and threw them in the trash. I scampered past the kitchen and travelled up the stairs so fast that I nearly tripped on my way up."

I've also been progressing in my Pokemon fanfiction.

Reply to "Landline" message

Based on the technology used in the story, I'm going to say its origins are before the late 90's and early 2000's when cellphones became a bit more commonplace. I think I remember a phone number in the NES version of Roger Rabbit. This was an actual phone number you could call to get game tips. Today, from what I understand, the number now connects to a sex hotline.

I had a wonderful idea for a future Creepypasta. A lot of gaming pastas seem to want the audience to be scared of the game, right? Well, what if the source of fear came from the seller themselves? They don't appear to be shoddy based on their high satisfaction rating on Amazon. However, when the protagonist tries to return the defective game, all sorts of events ensue. What I'm about to show you is a summary of the story and not a finalized version. Some things in the final draft may be different from the version I'll show you.

Pastebin link to story:

If you get a chance to read it, let me know and in the mean time, I'll keep on working on my R.L Stine pasta.

Of Swords and Jokes

Lol, those silly Hollywood types and their idea pitches. It's depressing to think about how that was eight years ago. I see what she did there with "green-lit" XD Do you own some comedian video tapes, DVDs, and/or books?

Aw, that's funny and cute. You know, I've never actually seen a big dog fight a little dog (though I have seen little dogs nip at bigger dogs and get no response from them). That is really funny though. I can just imagine Brady waiting until everyone is asleep and slipping out through the window to do dog fight club, only to return before sunlight XD

I'm looking forward to it! I don't remember that specific commercial, but the set-up of it seems rather familiar. Maybe they've aired other versions of it with different people? Buckle up I'm going to be popular 20:58, February 7, 2016 (UTC)

Ah ha! I'm onto you, Raidra! You want to be a comedian, don't you? Seriously though, you should look into doing that if you haven't and really want to (unless you already are). My friend has a collection of stand-up that we listen to when we go to the casino. George Carlin is my favorite, even though he can be really vulgar, I like how there can be a lot of truth in his jokes. Oh geez, that is a terrible idea XD
Awesome, thanks! Huh, I'm not sure if I remember the Spider-Man commercial or not, but I can certainly imagine it. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 17:32, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, you're really funny (in a good way). I'm more of a dark humor type myself, tho I do like all types of humor and I used to try to make people laugh to the point of being the official class clown :| Ha! Yeah, I'd like that. More humor is always good!
I had never heard of Roger Ebert before. I just checked out his review of Tommy Boy and find myself in disagreement with it, but to each their own. Those categories and the description he gave for knives is really funny and so true XD Lol, "Umbrella finished behind Morton Salt". Heh, the Resident Evil review really was great! I'm bookmarking this guy and reading his reviews. Buckle up I'm going to be popular 04:48, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
Neat! You have a far better drive when it comes to scanning stuff then I do, I've been meaning to scan some drawings for months, but it's super lengthy for me because I have to add to a flash drive and then upload it to my laptop.
Yeah, that's really respectable. A lot of people -especially reviewers- have their own cliques and are afraid to give an opinion different from theirs. Largely why I don't trust movie or video game reviews and tend to either go by my research or word of mouth from my friends. I never heard about that, but it doesn't surprise me as paid shills are pretty common in the video game industry.
Despite their flaws, I love the Friday the 13th films and am eagerly waiting for the next one which keeps getting delayed. That scorpion film sounds hilarious. Silly General, electricity is for robots and androids, not humans. I love seeing people die in hilarious and dumb ways (in fiction, lol) like you described with the General XD Buckle up I'm going to be popular 10:32, February 10, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, it wasn't really a remake, but it's confusing as to where it would fit on the timeline (probably between 2 and 3, because he doesn't have the hockey mask and has already been established as a well known killer). The next film is actually another "reboot" :|
My favorite one was "Baseball Bugs", because common sense is put into the joke and it points out how unnecessary some of the comments that people make are (also, I really like the drug test bit). My second favorite was the one on the "Butterfly Effect". The line about the last slice of pepperoni at the end was golden! You making a joke about being defective is also funny (I've always been a fan of self-depreciation humor). Lastly, the bits about the Antique Roadshow and Montel cracked me up.
I'm not much of a music fan, so I'm unable to grasp the music references. All in all, I think you have something for everyone in the routine you posted and that's hard to pull off; very funny :D Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to your blog! Buckle up! I'm going to be popular 01:59, February 11, 2016 (UTC)
Both, because it'll probably fit in the old canon too, but will not address the ending of the reboot film.
Ha! That reminds me of back when I was a medical student and I toured a campus where they had two cadavers. The med-students there had voted on names for the cadavers and the male one was named Conan O'Dyin XD Did the officers use the heat they packed to correct the snowman? Sweet, I'll keep an eye out for it! Buckle up! I'm going to be popular 22:07, February 12, 2016 (UTC)
I haven't finished reading your blog yet, but so far the sword-breaker is my favorite of the bunch that is described (I haven't looked at the pictures and tried to identify them yet). I'm taking my time looking through the blog, because I want to leave a proper comment. It absolutely delivers! Buckle up! I'm going to be popular 21:43, February 13, 2016 (UTC)
Awesome! I'll check it out soon :D I've been busy looking to see if any of my stories have been plagiarized (much to my amazement they have not, but rather people have made YouTube videos and spread them without crediting anyone, including themselves). I'm rather happy right now and am in the process of trying to contact and thank all of them for their support XD Buckle up! I'm going to be popular 01:13, February 14, 2016 (UTC)
After looking into it, it doesn't appear that the user is claiming it as their own, but they haven't credited anyone either. Here's what the page says "Here is my own collection of creepypastas from internet" Source: The wording is ambiguous, but not outright claiming that the pasta was written by the user in question. I can ask the user to credit you if you wish though.

I think making the seller the focus of fear will breath some new life into the gaming pasta genre. I agree that you may run into a creep on an online shopping site if you're not careful. I think Amazon is the safest and most trustworthy option for buying online. I don't really use E-Bay because my dad had a really bad experience on that site. Basically, what happened was that his financial information got hacked while using that site. I also think that having the antagonist be a female pedophile is also going to breath some new life into the genre because while there are female pedophiles out there, the media doesn't acknowledge them as much and usually if there's a pedophile in a story, they're are almost always male. I think with some nessesary retooling, it could be a really great story should I choose to write it. I'm surprised that almost no one has thought of this idea.

I'm getting far in my Pokemon fanfiction. I've been working on it today and I think it's going to be a great episode based on what I have so far. I'm past the part where Emily's mother has a battle with the mysterious person who later turns out to be a guy named Albert who becomes Emily's mother's teaching assistant.

What I just showed you was just a summary and when it comes to writing the full story, I will fix tense swapping and other issues. I will also a part where it is explained that the reason the parents aren't around much is because they've both taken two jobs given that they're from Iceland and have grown into that sort of lifestyle. Since Iceland is an island, a lot of things need to be imported and due to shipping costs and whatnot, everything costs a bit more. Thus, to live a semi comfortable lifestyle, Icelanders often take up two jobs.

I often had thoughts where I felt like someone was living in my TV. It would make all sorts of bumping noises. My previous TV was a Camel TV with a big back on it. I got a similar TV but this one doesn't seem to be making those noises.

I also have this fear that someone is going to break into my house or that someone is already in my house when I'm home alone. I wonder if others have the same fear.

Speaking of Haunting Hour pasta, I've added a tiny bit to chapter 11. I might add more later and if I do, I'll be happy to show it to you. I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I started working on it. I just hope I can get it finished before I lose interest in the pasta! I sometimes have a problem of starting something but not finishing it. I'm still trying to figure out what the ending for the pasta will be. Shall the story turn out to be a nightmare or should the protagonist black out, end up in the hospital, and find out that what she was watching never existed and that the samurai was a halucination? I have a more detailed explanation for each ending if you're interested in seeing it.

Reply to "Endings" message

Here are a bit of an idea of what each ending would be like:

Alternate Ending 1:

Towards the end of the episode, the protagonist starts to think about what has happened all day. When this happens, she catches onto a pattern. The samurai only seems to appear when the DVD isn't playing. However, when the DVD is playing, she is protected from the samurai within her room. The protagonist decides to test out the pattern by opening her door and pausing the DVD. She waits a few moments until the samurai appears across the hall. She repeats the process except with the DVD playing and the samurai doesn't show up. She also concludes that, based on the brick incident, the closest the samurai can get to entering her room is by forcing objects through random entry points like a window when powerful enough. While the DVD is playing, she takes a moment to get a drink. However, the episode ends sooner than she expected as she sees the samurai running after her. She drops the drink and starts sprinting out the door. She heads towards the lake and swims as fast as she can until she passes out from exhaustion. She later wakes up in the hospital where Erika asks her why she jumped in the lake. The protagonist tells her that the samurai started running after her and that thought that she could swim to the other side successfully seeing as how the distance didn't seem that far. The protagonist also tells Erika that the samurai from earlier was chasing her. Erika shows concern for her and tells the protagonist that she found a DVD from her collection in the protagonist's room while gathering some of her belongings. The protagonist immediately asks if its the DVD for The Haunting Hour. Erika gets a confused look on her face and loudly says "What?" and tells the protagonist that she hasn't heard of the show, let alone own a DVD for the series.

Alternate Ending 2:

As the episode is coming to an end, the protagonist notices something odd. When one of the characters in the episode mentions a samurai, the camera cuts to an empty space where the samurai should be. The protagonist scratches their head at first but suddenly gasps when she makes the shocking conclusion that the samurai from the episode might be the samurai that was following her throughout the house. She denies this at first but soon puts the dots together and finds out that she's unfortunately correct. After the credits roll, the DVD goes back to the main menu. When this happens, the protagonist goes to find a hiding spot. As she is doing this, she sees blue specs glimmering that are following the samurai. The samurai then peels off of the wall and becomes a fully three dimensional being. The protagonist tries to flee but gets caught by the samurai who restrains her. She tries hard to fight back but she seems to have no luck. The samurai eventually loosens their grip by mistake and the protagonist is able to escape. She runs out of the house and quickly ran towards the end of the street. When she gets there, she sees a car coming towards her but before she could get out of the way, she is hit and immediately wakes up in her bed screaming while sweat is pouring down her face.

Well I'm glad you found some appeal with the endings. I went and asked Doom about the endings. So far, no response from him yet. I might try and go with the ending that fits in with the rest of the story or makes the most sense. I'm leaning towards the nightmare ending but the other ending could still fit this description. I might ask some others about the endings because I want this pasta to have a more psychological approach. If the episode is supposed to be lost, both endings could work.

So I went to the dentist yesterday for my annual cleaning and they said I have cavities on overlapping teeth and need them filled (I have an extremely small mouth). Other than that, my teeth were fine.

I Got Something Back from Doom!

So I asked Doom which of the endings they liked and they went with the first ending. The reason why they chose that ending was because stories that turn out to be a nightmare (I think they were referring to Creepypastas only though I'm not sure) are rarely ever well received. They also say that the first ending adds some mystery to the story. For example, it leaves it open for people to determine if the protagonist is crazy and who or what put the DVD in Erika's collection.

I kind of agree with Doom and now that I think of it, that might be the best fit for a psychological horror story. I'm working on a review for this episode of The Haunting Hour called "Sick". The episode is about a boy who is home sick and it starts out like a normal sick day but as the episode progresses, things start to become abnormal. This talk show host keeps turning his TV's on, warning him about a quarentine against this alien in his house. Long story short, he tells the boy how to fight off the alien before the people issuing the quarentine spray some kind of poison that will kill him and the alien. At the end, everyone thinks he just had a fever dream, including the boy himself. However, the host turns the tv on and tells the boy that he is not dreaming and that the people who tell him that he's dreaming are lying to keep him brainwashed or something. That episode is also a psychological horror story and has an ending that leaves a lot open to interpretation.

You Might Want to See This

I just thought I'd bring this to your attention about your story Periodic Nyctophobia. Not trying to cause alarm or anything like that, just thought I'd say something about it.

Hakuna matata, what a wonderful phrase and it's no passing craze. (talk) 01:34, February 14, 2016 (UTC)

I have a wattpad account and can ask the user to credit you or remove the story; or report the story, if you'd like. Buckle up! I'm going to be popular 01:56, February 14, 2016 (UTC)

Reply to "Cavities" message

I've been doing my best to reduce my cavity count. I've cut my soda and sugar consumption dramatically (I now have soda twice a week instead of almost everyday). I frequetly brush and floss my teeth. My dad says I have a family history of "Soft teeth" though, I'm not really sure how true that is.

The strange thing about the "Sick" episode is that good quality footage of the episode is extremely scarce on YouTube (Thanks copyright bullshit! >:U ). I might be able to find the episode on another video site so that way I can properly review the episode (I got as far as the introduction, summary, and started on my first point). I was planning on having the review up by wednsday of last week but I had other plans. Maybe I can check out the episode tonight!  I really do love the psychological horror genre and this episode is one of my favorites in the series.

Did I show you the most recent additions to the R.L Stine Pasta? I'll send them as soon as possible.

Newest Pasta Additions!

Here they are: "When I got upstairs, I slammed the door and locked it. I even went as far as to put a small white wooden chair that I found in the back corner of the room near the bunk beds under the door handle. I scrambled over to the daybed and tried to hold the remote but my hands were shaking so much that I kept dropping it. I did the best I could to steady my hands and I was eventually able to hit the play button.

The episode had shifted to a scene where the police were investigating Kristy's house. Several officers were shown to be thoroughly examining the kitchen for potential clues to lead them to whoever or whatever caused the damage."

Reply to "Less is Somehow More Soda" message

I'm glad you liked the addition but now I'm stuck thinking of what will happen after the part where it sets up the next scene in the episode. Maybe Kristy's friend will come over and survey the damage or something. Maybe a police officer tells Kristy's parents that based on the tracks found in the kitchen there kitchen was ruined by a tanooki and the parents think it's a mythological creature.

If you have any other suggestions, let me know.

New Message

I figured that I'd make a new message here too as it was getting long. Speaking of long, would you like me to archive your talk page?

I'll message them all and ask them to credit you and then report if they do not credit you within 4 days (if you find that acceptable). I'll run what I'm going to send by you before I message them and have you clear it with me. I don't want to get too nasty/polite with them. I'd be pretty mad too if I saw someone claiming my work as their own.

Yeah, it's just the best feeling in the world when you find that someone else enjoys a story, especially when they share/narrate it!

Mike Myers is hilarious XD Yeah, I'd like talking about BTAS again! I've just been caught up in so many things that I haven't had much time to look through the episode descriptions to jog my memory. Buckle up! I'm going to be popular 01:20, February 16, 2016 (UTC)
