Re-uploaded story

Please don't re-upload your deleted story; it's against the rules. If you really want your story back so badly, make a case on deletion appeal instead. If you re-upload a deleted pasta again, you will receive a 1-day suspension from editing.

LOLSKELETONS (talk) 22:53, July 23, 2014 (UTC)

FYI

I've moved your spinoff appeal, aas it was posted in the wrong place (the archives, which are records of old appeals). You can now find it here. Underscorre (talk) 07:58, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

Story deletion

Your story has been deleted because it doesn't meet the wiki's quality standards. If you feel that it did meet the standards, please state your case on Deletion Appeal. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter there, or your appeal will be automatically denied.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REUPLOAD YOUR PASTA. If you upload it again, you'll receive a 1-day ban from editing, as per the rules.

Read the Deletion FAQ and our Style Guide for Writing for details on the 'what' and 'why' of the deletions we make.

Read this guide and these blog posts for further details on how you can improve your story/stories to make them meet our quality standards.

For additional help, submit your story to the Writer's Workshop for feedback.

Your Story

The story you recently uploaded: Casefile: 2Spooky, doesn't seem to reference the meme apart from the title, so it seems as a gimmick, which brings the story down. Would you mind coming up with a new name for the story? When you come up with a new name, message an Admin or {{rollback}} to change it.

Re: Story

Done, and changed. I didn't leave a redirect behind so the original title has been deleted, but the new title: "The Port Risley Incident" has the original story. That being said, currently I am dealing with another user and don't have time to review it and remove it from M4R at this moment. EmpyrealInvective (talk) 18:33, October 11, 2015 (UTC)

Rumors on a street corner

Your story was deleted for storyline issues. I realize the urban dialect was intentional. The events in the story seem disconnected and it gives me the impression of generalized turmoil. It seems like there is no reason for most of these things to occur. Is the city falling apart? What is the reason for these conversations? What happened at the end? My guess is that the narrator (or one of the narrators) turned into a zombie or something similar. The ending feels like a gimmick, it would probably be better told from someone else's perspective. It also seems anti-climactic because there's turmoil then randomness, it raises a lot of questions without leaving suspense.

Writer's Showcase

Hi Tbok. I noticed you recently made a thread in the showcase and I wanted to let you know that your thread doesn't comply with the forum rules. You are only allowed to showcase one story per thread, not a compilation of stories (example). I suggest you start posting your stories in separate threads.

Also, in stories that are yours, you might want to add {{by-user|Tbok1992}} at the bottom of the page to sign them as yours. If you post your story in the showcase, you have to do that (I've already done it in your stories, but keep it in mind for the future).

Thank you and have a nice day. MrDupin (talk) 12:58, October 12, 2015 (UTC)

I just saw you license your stories as Non-Commercial. In this case, add this:
{{By-user|Tbok1992|license=cc-by-nc}} instead of {{by-user|Tbok1992}}. MrDupin (talk) 13:02, October 12, 2015 (UTC)

Important - Some of your pastas may be deleted

Hello, I am a bot operated by Underscorre. If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact Underscorre via his talk page.

Recently, it was brought to the attention of the Creepypasta Wiki staff that pastas posted under licenses other than CC BY-SA are not allowed to be hosted on Wikia. Please see this announcement for more information. I have automatically identified that a number of your pastas may have been released under a non-compliant license (e.g: CC BY-ND, CC BY-NC, etc). Unfortunately, we cannot allow any pastas to remain on the site which are not licensed under CC BY-SA/public domain, and your pastas will be deleted some time in the future if they remain under a non-compliant license.

We would like to sincerely apologise for this situation. For many years, the staff here have operated under the assumption that alternative licenses were acceptable, and we intended to protect the rights of authors by allowing flexibility in how they licensed their stories. These deletions have not come about through any error at all on your part, we simply got it wrong.

As mentioned above, deletions will occur some time in the future (possibly in September). Right now, you have two options. If you wish for your pasta(s) to remain on Creepypasta Wiki, you will need to change the license on all of your pages to CC BY-SA. I have included a guide on how to do this below. If you wish for your pasta(s) to remain under their current licenses and be deleted, you do not need to do anything. I will automatically delete any of your pages which remain incompatibly licensed some time in the future.

Once your pasta has been deleted, it can be restored if you wish to change the license to CC BY-SA. Contact an administrator via their talk page, and ask for your pasta to be restored, being sure to note that the pasta was deleted because of licensing issues.

Changing the license on your pasta

Your pasta was identified as being incompatible due to the use of the {{By}} or {{By-user}} template, with the license parameter set to something other than cc-by-sa. For example, it could look something like the following:

{{by|Underscorre|user=yes|license=cc-by-nd}}
{{by-user|Underscorre|license=cc-by-nc}}

To change the license to CC BY-SA, alter the license parameter to show the correct license. Note that, if using the {{By-user}} template, the license parameter is actually filled in automatically, and you can remove it altogether to have the same effect of changing to BY-SA. The examples above would become the following:

{{by|Underscorre|user=yes|license=cc-by-sa}}
{{by-user|Underscorre}}

If you change the license in this fashion, your pastas will not be deleted. Please be aware of the implications of this license change - if you are switching from BY-NC/BY-ND, you will be allowing commercial use/derivatives of your pasta. Ensure this is what you want before changing license.

Contact an administrator if you need any assistance with changing your pasta's license.

Incompatible Pastas

I have included a list of your pastas which have incompatible licenses below. Once again, we'd like to apologise for this situation. If you need any assistance/information, please contact an administrator, or ask a question in the announcement thread. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you.

Pasta Deletions

Hello, I am a bot operated by Underscorre. If you believe you have received this message in error, please contact Underscorre via his talk page.

You should have received a message from me in August informing you of upcoming deletions of pastas not licensed under CC BY-SA. This announcement provides more information about why this is happening. Unfortunately, you do not appear to have updated the licensing of your pasta(s), and I have had to delete them.

Once again, the wiki staff would like to extend our sincerest apologies for this situation. This was not at all our desired outcome, but we need to abide by FANDOM/Wikia's terms of use.

Your pasta(s) can be restored if you wish to change their license to CC BY-SA. Contact an administrator via their talk page, and ask for your pasta to be restored, being sure to note that the pasta was deleted because of licensing issues.

I have included a list of deleted pastas below. Once again, we'd like to apologise. If you need any assistance/information, please contact an administrator. Thank you for your understanding.
