Hi, welcome to Creepypasta Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Legend of Zelda Bootleg/Hack page.

Please be sure to read all of the Site Rules, as it is important to follow them. Failure to abide by them may result in your account being blocked.

Read some new pastas by checking out the article index or browse by topic by checking out the Genre Listing. You can also read some of the best stories our wiki has to offer by checking out Suggested Reading. Finally, you can check out stories written by authors of the wiki in User Stories.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything!

New Categories

Please do not create categories. If you make a mistake in typing a category, click the pencil icon to edit or the garbage can icon to delete. There's no need to publish an edit with a non-existent category. See the Genre Listing page for rules about what categories can and cannot be added to pages together or by non-admin, and also for further descriptions of all our existing categories. If you are confused as to how categories on Wikia are supposed to work, please see the help page on categories. The first offense for this is a warning, but the second offense will result in a 1 (one) day block per the category rules.

If you feel your new category should be added to this list, leave a message on ClericofMadness's talk page stating your proposed category and reasons for its inclusion. It must, though, be applicable to at LEAST 10 (ten) existing pages to be considered.

Story deletion

Your story has been deleted because it doesn't meet the wiki's quality standards. If you feel that it did meet the standards, please state your case on Deletion Appeal. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter there, or your appeal will be automatically denied.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REUPLOAD YOUR PASTA. If you upload it again, you'll receive a 1-day ban from editing, as per the rules.

Read the Deletion FAQ and our Style Guide for Writing for details on the 'what' and 'why' of the deletions we make.

Read this guide and these blog posts for further details on how you can improve your story/stories to make them meet our quality standards.

For additional help, submit your story to the Writer's Workshop for feedback.

While there were typos present in your story, the largest issues here were the ineffective/bland descriptions, plot holes, pacing issues, and awkward wording which resulted in me determining the story wasn't up to quality standards. EmpyrealInvective (talk) 02:54, June 5, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Tips

The best advice I can give is to check out this section on writing advice. It has a number of helpful sections ranging from mechanical issues, to writing specific genres, to writing itself. You can also check out the writer's lounge which has interviews with a number of authors about their writing process. Finally, I would suggest reading a number of stories here and taking your finished story to the writer's workshop (link above) to get feedback before uploading your story to the main site. They're very good at troubleshooting and spotting issues. Hope that helps. EmpyrealInvective (talk) 01:35, June 6, 2020 (UTC)

Warning! Unfinished Page

Please don't contribute unfinished pages. We get a lot of these, and almost none of them are EVER finished in a timely manner. Your unfinished page has been deleted. I'd suggest you post unfinished pages on your own computer in a notepad or other text document, or if it isn't your own computer that you're using, to save the text on Pastebin so you can access it later. Posting an unfinished page again will result in a block.

That rule was created because people didn't finish their stories in a timely manner. A majority of people who posted said they would, but didn't, leading to that rule being enforced. I know because a few years back, I had to go through the stories posted and delete the dozens of unfinished ones that the authors never got around to completing. Why not just complete your story in a Word document or use an online program like Pastebin if you don't have that program and use that time to carefully proof-read and revise your story rather than trying to post an unfinished version that you'll feel compelled to rush through to complete. Unfinished Page

You posted another unfinished page. As you have been warned before and you still didn't follow the rules, you have been blocked for one day.

Reuploaded Story

You have reuploaded a story that was previously deleted without going through the proper channels to approve its return. As you have been previously warned for this, you have had your ability to edit suspended for 1 day. Further attempts to reupload previously deleted stories will result in lengthier blocks from editing.

Re: Unfinished Page

I'm sorry, but your story was unfinished. The page basically amounted to: "a spooky thing happened when I said the Konami Code to my Siri, I'll update you guys in a few days". That is not a complete story, that is not even a complete premise. As you reuploaded the page, I've extended your ban to three days. Please spend this time familiarizing yourself with the site rules because the next infraction will result in a week long ban. EmpyrealInvective (talk) 19:48, June 21, 2020 (UTC)
